In recent news, FOX recently renewed Talk Show with Spike Feresten for a 2007-2008 season, thanks to young male viewers.

On the Sketch side, MADtv producers QDE and Warner Bros. TV are in talks with FOX for renewal of MADtv, which will likely be cloudy thanks to current castmember Bobby Lee making his own show with Comedy Central (who syndicates MADtv, of course) and comments from former 2001-2006 castmember Frank Caliendo, who's also making a show, A SKETCH SHOW with TBS. Rumors states that MADtv would bid adieu after the twelth season finale.

Ever since 1995, the year they started, MADtv, known as an competitor to SNL (which is BORING), and known for the first five seasons with Alfred E. Neuman pictures up on the screen along with Spy Vs. Spy and Don Martin shorts, launched acting and voice careers such as dubbed "MADtv Queen" Nicole Sullivan, who did The Vancome Lady, Antonia, Lida, and other sketches (1995-2001), the longest ORIGINAL MADtv castmember (1995-2003) dubbed "MADtv Princess" Debra Wilson, who did Oprah, Bunifa, and Mariah Carey, OG castmember/voice artist dubbed "MADtv Cult Favorite", Phil LaMarr, who's known for Jaq the UBS Guy, Funky Walker, Dirty Talker, Prince, Montel Williams, Spishak announcer from 95-97, and other impressions (1995-2000), dubbed "MADtv best Former Original Castmember" OG David Herman, whose known as Marsh from X News and being a funnyman (1995-1997 (3rd season, 6 episodes), OG dubbed "MADtv's the pre Mo Collins" Mary Scheer ,who's known for her Dixie Wentsworth on Cabana Chat, and impressions on characters (1995-1998), dubbed "MADtv Giraffe Cult" Pat Kilbane, whose knows as Stan The Coffee Man (1997-2000), dubbed "MADtv short but feisty" Alex Boristein, whose known for Ms. Swan, the funny troll, and Regis Philbin, (now voice of Lois Griffin in Family Guy) (1997-2002), dubbed "MADtv King" Will Sasso, who did impressions of James Goldifinni, and who also lost....and GAIN some weight,and who was cast as part of Life with Bonnie (1997-2002), OG Castmember dubbed "MADtv original Aries Spears" Orlando Jones, who did OJ Simpson impressions, and who did big movies and 7up commericals (1995-1997), OG John Belushi look-a-like dubbed "MADtv Original Fatboy" Artie Lange, who was famous for his cocaine problems and That's my white Mama (DON'T MAKE ME PUT MY FOOT UP IN YO ASS), now bigger and hosts The Howard Stern Show (1995-1997), dubbed "MADtv Gangsta Castmember" Aries Spears, who was famous for Dollar Bill Montgomerey and impressions of Eddie Murphy (1997-2005), dubbed "MADtv funny Asian" Bobby Lee, who is known for Average Asian and Kim Jong il (2001-present), dubbed "THE NEXT Nicole Sullivan", Nicole Parker, who's known for her Ellen impressions, and Ashlee Simpson (2003-present), dubbed "MADtv favorite" Mo Collins, who's known for her Lorriane, Jenny Jones, and Doreen Larkin impressions (1998-2004), Dubbed "MADtv funnywoman" Stephenie Weir, who's known for her Dot, Kylie, Dorothy,and Angela impressions (2000-2006), and the undeatiable, longest running man................Ouincy Jones (PSYCHE! Takshow with Spike Feresten is a FOX Production. Spike wrote Big hit Seinfeild's Famous "The Soup Nazi" and a Simpsons episode a while back.

Mad's had a *few* funny moments this season, but nothing major. Unless there's a major rejuvenation, I say it's time to end the show.

I hope MadTV lasts for as long as possible. In all the years it's been on, I can't say I've ever found myself saying "I think it's time this show ends" like I have with SNL since, oh, the late-90s.

SNL is Never really on


MadTV is great but i never watch it when ot's on i watch episodes on Sunday Morning on CC
