It's the upcoming SRPG from the Level 5 people(they did DQ8, Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy)
And apparently the battle system for it is pretty balanced. Essentialy there's no way to milk the system by manipulating it a certain way. For example characters that give an AOE buff are more susecptable to enemy units that can use an AOE damage spell. It's very streamlined in how it plays out apparently, but the character customization is incredibly deep, possibly more-so than Disgaea's customizing system. Allthough the emphesis really isn't on leveling and seems to be more along the line's of FFX's sphere grid system in terms of progression. Also they can do physical transformation at some point durring battle(after completing the Itemization Pre-reqs) which grants them an extra turn among other abilities.
Honestly this looks like certainly one of the best SRPGs to pick up in the near future
