???
Intra-show continuity hasn't been a major problem with any ofthe shows...it's the intershow continuity that has occassionally posed a problem.

Off the top of my head I can't remember either having any continuity problems. But I would say Superman would have been the easiest to handle since there weren't as many episodes to keep track of.

Y'know, I've never really thought about it before, but know that you've thrown the question out there, I'd have to with Superman having the better continuity.
Overall, there's not much of a problem with stories contradicting themselves in either series. But there did seem to be more recognition of earlier events in the Superman episodes.
A great example of this is in the episodes featuring Darkseid. From "Tools of the Trade" to "Legacy pt. 2," they really seemed to build on each other. There was also a nice chain linking the events of the Brainiac episodes and the Bizarro episodes. The first three John Corben/Metallo appearances started off connected very nicely, but the last two threw all of that out the window.
And while there was an occasional attempt to do this in Batman (like w/Ra's Al Ghul and Clayface) for the most part the episodes were pretty much "stand alone." Actually, the whole Harvey Dent/Pamela Isley relationship is a nice bit of continuity that has carried over to other episodes. Don't forget, though, that Harvey was dating Pam in "Pretty Poison" but 5-8 episodes later he was already engaged to Grace.
