Last night, at approximately 3AM on TBS, during a righteous showing of Adventures in Babysitting, I saw a new 10-10-220 commercial starring Terry Bradshaw and Alf. Use this thread to share your favorite Alf memories.

The first cartoon was great--it was better than the sitcom--but it's been so long that I can barely remember it. They should release it on video or something.

Well, I've only seen 1 alf, but It was pretty good. It was the one that the FBI finds alf threatening them for some reason.

Alf: Can I speak to the president yet?
Guy: Sorry, he's in despose (sp)
Alf: Man, how many times can one guy go to the can?

I was completely mesmerized by Alf when I was young. But then I saw it recently on the Hallmark Channel... and it was horrible... bad jokes. But that doesn't change my feelings toward it from when I was a child.

Alf is doing 1-800 Collect commercials? Did they fire Carrot Top?

ALF was good in its day but it's not one of those sit coms that age well with time.

I'm sorry, it was a 10-10-220 commercial, I accidentally confused the two. I've edited my original message accordingly.

Alf will never go out of style.

The thing I remember about Alf is that he liked cats.
Wait, I mean he liked to EAT cats.
God, I miss Alf...

This is my 400th meaningless post!
Yay!

Yeah, I feel the same way now, too. Still, it was nice seeing someone LIKABLE in a 10-10-220 ad, not some football hick. And any character that likes eating cats is a-okay by me, since cats are evil. Dogs are better. :D

H-he's back! In POG Form!!! Oh, wait, sorry, that was the Simpsons...

Personally, never did like Alf, and probably never will. Didn't even strike me as very funny back in day... makes me wonder why they've got him selling long distance now...

As much as i like ALF, this is another example of a former icon reduced to the level of of a pitchman. It's sad realy. I'm just glad the T.V. film, "Porject ALF, tied up the loose end in the show's final episode." By comparrison, ALF is 100 times funnier than CarrotTop, and Even though Mr. T sold out, I'd love to see him beat the stuffings out of that retard! Sadly, Gorge Lucas has sold out to the Energizer Bunny a few years back (Don't even get me started on that!) If I was Lucas, I would've said no to those gready bastards, but the fact is that Lucas will be remembered for more than a stupid Energizer spot. Now if you want to see a good parody of selling out, watch the Simpsons episode where Homer becomes Mark Hamill's bodyguard. There's a scene where Hamill pitches long distance phone service at the Springfiels comic convention.
