Has Batman shortened his lifespan from all the punishment he's taken?

It's possible I guess, but with his job he shot or killed at anytime by a lucky shot.

I would imagine so. With all the abuse he take every day it would eventually take it's toll. Just look at some of the older boxers or professional wrestlers. Many of them used to be in great shape. But you can't sustain that forever, and I would bet that Bruce's body would quit long before his heart would.

This is quite a good question, I never though about it before. His life probably will be shorter since he's taken so many beatings. But he'll probably get shot and die before then I would think. I actually think that his lack of sleep, coupled with all the beatings that he gets, have for sure shortened his amount of years left.

Well, in Batman Beyond he seems all right, but in Kingdom Come he needed this giant metal brace for his whole body. (Didn't stop him from kickin' A. when he needed to.)
