I'm in a random mood tonight, and this topic came to mind: What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? Just any old kind, a well known name brand? Does it smell like a fruit or flower?

I use Sauve shampoos and conditioners. I usally rotate between Salon Formula and Daily Protection
I like Clairol's Herbal Essences for shampoo and conditioner. For soap, I prefer to use bodywash. I like Softsoap's Fruit Essentials -they have scents like peach, watermelon, and raspberry!

Thermasilk. it smeels great and it works well. Also, before a date, i use estee lauder's beautiful body wash. On my face I use St. Ives apricot Scrub , Nutregena's Pore Refining cleanser and Acne Wash. It's a great combo that clears up my face and it's worked on my roommates too.
What a fun question!

When I'm washing my hair, not just any shampoo will do. That's why I use Head & Shoulders. :p
I don't think that I even know what conditioner is.

Head and Shoulders is too spendy. The store brand dandruff shampoo works just as good. And that's what I actually use.

Dont be dissin' Head & Shoulders...now. It not only makes hair shiney, & free of flakes...but it also kills fast-evolving aliens out to destroy the human race! ahh!!

Whatever's around. Right now, I think I'm using Alberto V05. Same with conditioner, whatever's around, although I havent used it as much after I cut my hair short. The flower smelling shampoo's are pretty cool. Shoot, I didnt just compromise my manlihood with that statement did I? :dot:

I use soaps from the bath and bady works shop, they smell good. As far as shampoos are concerned, generic ol' Kirkland signature brand for me!

I like Suave shampoo...it's 99 cents in Shoprite, and it smells good!
For soap, I sort of alternate between Bath and Body Works (Freesia or whatever smell my mom and I like) and some purple stuff we buy in Shoprite.

Since I really don't have much hair - I shave it down to about a quarter inch - I don't use shampoo and conditioner! Saves me lots of cash! :D

Um... what do I use? Soap, water, shampoo. Oh... what kind do I use... whatever is around. If it's in the shower, I'll use it. I'm not too picky. Right now I'm trying to use up the rest of this holiday shampoo. Smells really nice :)

Whatever gives me the totally organic experience is what is most enjoyable...
(read into this whatever you want...it's just shampoo, right?)

The shampoo that works best for me is Thermasilk. The product line is so far the best. I am satisfied with the hair products so far^^

I use either Pantene or Tresemme for my shampoo & conditioner, and I use any sort of nice body wash I can find, although I really like SoftSoap's stuff with the little lotion beads.
I envy those of you who can use Suave & not have your hair feel like kindling straw. You probably have much more money than I do thanks to the cash vacuums my hair likes.

I won't go near Suave. I've tried it a couple years back, and it didn't agree with my hair (dried it out, and made it a tangled mess.) Right now I have Neutrogena Clean Moisturizing shampoo and Neutrogena detangling conditioner in my shower. My roommate works in a lab for Johnson & Johnson, so she gets me stuff at the store at her work place for real cheap. :D

lol, wow, I didn't expect to get this many replies, cool! Anyhoo, my hair is tempermental and I tend to change what I use every few months. Suave has been working pretty well so far though, so I'm sticking with it. I've used the coconut smelling one, and just switched to strawberry, it smells so great! Anyhoo, this board is for animation and general topics isn't it? So how can threads get out of hand? This is just the place where posts like this should be!
