If you have the extra time, you really need to read the IGN thread linked in this article that's responsible for elevating Mr. Joe Cracker to Superfanboy status. It's EXTREMELY hilarious. My highlights aren't enough.
This, as you can tell, is intended to be the first article of many, but I'm gonna need help. This is the Internet, so there have to be a lot of Superfanboys out there, but I wouldn't know where to begin. The only way to know of them is through word of mouth, so share with the group....
To start off, I remember reading about this one Star Wars geek who once had a very popular website because everybody thought he had connections to Lucasfilm and Lucas himself, but he was making the whole thing up, while at the same time talking down to everybody "below" him. Who was that guy?

You should do one on Ronixis (remember him from GameFAQs? The Rush Limburgh wannabe who felt he could save the American animation industry with a Thundercats revival). I've got some dirt on him if you're interested.

I think I am. Whether it leads into another article, though, depends on how much dirt I can get.

Would PC-Famicom64 count as a superfanboy, or was he just considered a spammer?

Fanboy? Most definitely (he wanted Miyamoto to take over Family Guy; figure out that one). Superfanboy? Ehh....he didn't go as far as Cracker, did he?

True, but I still have some other potential nominees. For instance, there's a guy on an MST3K forum I hang out at who's bent on getting the G4 network to pick up reruns of the show - he's gone so far as to contact the network president and is handing out her e-mail address to all the other members via private messages, urging them to support his endeavors. If it goes any farther, I think it'd be worthy of an article.

Joe Cracker has been a in-joke with my online friends for ages.

HOLY CRAP.
I remember reading through BOTH mega-threads about Joe Cracker. I know almost everything, and I even own the album he tried to peddle (in MP3 form, mind you) called "Crackin' Up Volume 1".
There's another part to the story, a part you seem to miss; after SBK and them make the cartoons, he scrambles and tries to sue them. IIRC that's the second thread, whose name I'm forgetting ATM.

No, I missed that part. Link, please?

Funny story, when I Googled it, the thread was the first response.

The general consensus seems to be that Ronixis should be the next Superfanboy, but there's one big hitch to that I realized tonight.
Ever since Ronixis was kicked off Toon Zone's forums, he's been ranting against TZ in other areas. Just recently he showed up in the talkback of a Cartoon Brew post badmouthing Harley, Brian, and Jeff Harris directly. He got deleted there as well, which probably made him even more steamed.
The last thing we want to do is give this crazy guy actual sound reasons to believe the site is against him. If he checks out the front page one day and sees in Updates, "Today the Legion of Superfanboys inducts Ronixis!" then he'll never quit.
What's the name of the guy who's been spamming forums all over the Net with form-like messages, trying to get the last Gargoyles volume released? My favorite part of that is the fact that Jeff Weisman himself told him to bug off. It's not enough to fill an article, though. It's a crying shame I can't do Ronixis.

You mean Jonny Modlin? (http://forums.toonzone.net/member.php?u=25459)
He also spams the Shout Factory boards and our very own DVD board asking about Mario, Captain N, and Sonic DVDs.

[I actually want the rest of the Gargoyles DVDs too >> lol]
That was an internet phenomina I didn't know about, thank you Joe Cracker, you have amused me greatly.
I guess we could ask Keeper who is the biggest Animanaics fan in his opinion...

Though no Joe Cracker by any means, I'd almost be willing to nominate the guy who is shopping around a fanfic-esque Ferris Bueller sequel (http://blogs.tampabay.com/80s/2007/08/ferris-bueller-.html), despite the fact that John Hughes wrote his own movies.
The sad thing is that some FB fans seem to be taking the guy seriously.
