okay, i noticed a lot of people weren't really pleased with some of the issues of the BB comic book. which, in your opinion, is the wrost issue in it's run? i'd have to go with ither issue 10 or 11...

From what I've read, they're all bad exept the current JLU arc. :D

The one that stands out in my mind the most is the one with Patrick the Rat-boy - purely because it sums up that 'this guy died in the cartoon, but I'm gonna come up with a half-assed way to have him survive just so I can write a dull story about him...' mentality (The Stalker vs. Blight issue is another good example of this). Why don't these 'writers' do something original and give us a gallery of new villains, unique to the comic, that would actually make it worth reading? HOW HARD CAN IT BE???

Well, considering the creative force behind this comic, and the fact that there probably wasn't much creative liberty to begin with, I don't see how we could have expected much more. I will always wish Ty Templeton got a chance at a few issues, tho....oh well. 24 issues of this just wasn't enough.

i know what you mean, bringing back characters that appeared to be dead wasn't the best idea. two of my favorite issues are the one with vendetta and that erica electra (?) girl. i thought they were pretty cool original characters, although i kind of hate they only got one issue...

I thought the episode with the rat-boy was bad, and they had to dedicate a whole issue to him.

Actually, the Rat-Boy issue was downright bad, but the Ma Mayhem issue was the absolute worst thing ever put to paper. I give that issue a 1/10. Terrible issue.

the only ones that are good are #2 of the ongoing, and #6 of the miniseries.

Mind you, I didn't read them all, but the Stalker issue that seemed to be a take on "The Most Dangerous Game" stands out as the least enjoyable. The plot was pointless, the characters were badly handled, drawn, and colored, and above all Stalker should have been pulped by that bullet train. Our webmistress Harley herself contributed to the review of that one, and you know when a goddess comes down from Olympus to do that, it's either d*** bad or d*** good! http://www.mpz.co.uk/cwm/otn/wink/1bluewinky.gif

I agree with DG. Issue 19 was downright horrible. The worst crap ever.
See ya!

Hopefully the conclusion of the JL arc isn't one of the 'worst' issues, too.

i don't think it will be. they started off really well in ish 22 and i think they'll end it on a good note...

That's surprising.
I would have to go with the Rat Boy and Ma Mayhem. That was just slop.

The series has been mediocre at best with a few stand out issues, which were very few and far between. The art was good, give or take a few issues (like #6)

even though it hasn't ben the best animated book ever, on a grading scale i'd give it a B-. the majority of the stories were pretty good and the art was consistently good. the standout issue in my opinion was 13. great story, great art. it was cool to dig a little into babara's past as they did...

Issue 13 was a great standout issue, although I'm still perplexed why they gave her blonde hair in some of those flashbacks. Hopefully these last 3 issues will help tip the scal ein favor of the comic's occasional good writing.

i'm intrested to see the royal flush gang story, but the splicer story seems kind of corny way to end the series. just my opinion, anyway...

yeah, it just doesn't seem like the proper way to end the book. even a bunch of BB rogues gallery fighting together would have been a better idea. a big double sized issue. oh well, take what you get, i guess...

What?? You are so wrong, this is the issue "WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR"!! That's what the solicitation says anyway :)

The Rat-boy issue and Ma-Mayhem are bad, Overall, the series is pretty good in my opinion. Though I would like to have Paul Dini or Bruce Timm himself to do a few of the issue.

yeah, that would have cool to see, sorta like the mad love book. with those two working on the same project, you're sure to have a great story and great art as well...
