My opinion? Sounds like the franchise is losing steam if a *fourth* Poke-movie can't make it to theaters despite the connections with a major studio like Warner Bros... though not being a fan of the show, I won't be losing sleep over it...

i don't watch pokemon but the ratings still dominate everything else. why isn't it going into theaters? are there other factors that they are looking at besides ratings?

I'm a Pokemon fan, and Pokemon 4's premise sounds interesting (Pokemon 5 looks to be better just from the new Pokemon I've seen though...), but I would rather have it go to video. Why?


1.I don't have to wait months inbetween so that I can get it after I see it in theaters.

2.Makes it easier for me to get it without being embarassed. ;)

I love Pokemon, I'm not afraid to admit it. I love Team Rocket and their silly ways... I love the idea of catching Pokemon and bonding with them... etc. And yes, I'll be 21 in March. Something about it just... appeals to me. I don't quite know how to explain it. Mostly, though, I'm a fan of the Japanese version. It's 10 times better in my opinion, plus it's unedited.
