Adam Buckman Has E-Mailed Me...Check It Out

When I posted yesterday that I had NY columnist Adam Buckman's own e-mail address, I sent him a letter expressing myself on how I felt on his story, to tell him on how I was appalled.

I bascially said to him, that I feel that you owe all of the cartoon
fans and legendary animators a Public apology for your comments
by tagging us (and the animators) as racists.

This was Mr. Buckman's repily to my e-mail:
I still stand by my writing, 110% percent

What a jerk....he still says the animators are the true racists, and these films should not be shown to anyone.I do feel good that I let my voice be heard to this moron and telling him that he should think before he writes.But I still hope...My "Toon Family", e-mails this jerk, and let him know that I'm not the only one that was offended by his comments.

THAT was all he could say? That is pathetic, especially for a jounalst who makes sweeping, and uneducated, no doubt, assumptions. I'll bet you put a lot of thought into your e-mail, and all he could meet it with was that pathetic little line.

That also surprised me too, I really went out and took my sweet time to express myself in a very long letter to this idiot explaining myself, and speaking (and looking out) for other classic cartoon fans also. But that's all he could say, and I did challenged him to certain questions, and all he could do was duck those tough questions, some journalist huh? Adam Buckman should stick to covering tv shows and leave the classic cartoons to us cartoon fans and film historians.:mad:

I e-mailed him an exceeding long letter, breaking down his article and asking questions, I also added this to the end: Please respond, and make it longer that one line, no "I stand behind my article 110%" please.

I'll e-mail him again, and I won't be nearly as polite, if he brushes me off.

I'm not sure if he's worthy of it, but I could really tear into this guy. I can't stand ignorant people! I think I might even put in an application to write for the paper, I know I have more journalistic credibilty than him.;)

I tell you guys one thing....It's good to see the support on this topic, and I would like to know from you guys, on his response.
But it seemed like this jerk didn't even care on what I said to him, which made my blood boil.
This guy should know on what we are about!!!

I wouldn't waste my time e-mailing a jackass like him. Like every print columnist, I've ever had the misfortunate to deal with, he will NEVER own up to anything to John Q. Public. You see, he writes opinions and opinions can't be wrong. Plus,he isn't going to admit being ill-informed because that puts their livelyhood, their column, in jeopardy.

Instead, I'd send copies of his fluff piece to cartoon friendly writers, celebritites. One of them might just tear this loser out a new bodily oriface, in public.

I'll refrain from e-mailing Mr. Buchman a letter, though. I imagine (a) he gets about then million hate letters a day and actually loves the attention and (b) I'd probably use words like "communist", "Stalin", and "horse's a**" every other sentence, and my letter would end up on his looney pile (along with everyone else's here)...
