I've got a school chorus concert tonight and I find after years of study, my throat gets super dry before singing and so I was wondering if anybody knew how to keep it preped for about six or seven minutes of singing?

Just drink water today, no milk, no soda, no gatorade...and such, then your throat should be better off.

Thanks, but I was told that apple juice was good to drink, is that wrong?

I'd assume not, mainly because Apple Juice contains sugar, which coats your throat for sometime, and only later is finally washed/dissolved away. Or, so I have been told.
And Sugar on Throat + Singing= Bad Mix.

Ack! I'm probably one of the only handful of basses that'll show up so I need to be in top form!

I lol'd.
I will say that the best advice would be not to get nervous.

There's no real point in keeping this open if you're going to delete Char Custom's post bumping it (which was good advice, considering this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ves8SlRp1pA)), since this thread is two years old and there's not a lot more to say about this subject.

Oops, I wasn't paying attention to the date and saw someone's post bumping it.
