I've rarely if ever seen Droopy/MGM shorts on Boomerang in the five years that I've had it, with the exception of time fillers. What's up, did Turner lose the rights to them after owning them outright for a good decade and a half??? I wanna be D-D-Down 'WIT DROOPY D! again. (Man, can't believe Turner came up with such a name for a programming block)
Also, when's the last time post-'48 WB shorts have aired on Boomerang??? Last I recall, they had that impressive Porky Pig show with that vintage opening/ending. But Bugs & Daffy/Looney Tunes were pretty much interchangeable right??? Man, the acrimonous relationship between Turner & WB pisses me off. Why doesn't Time Warner have the internal synergy that Viacom has???
And lastly..........would anyone care to point out which Boomerang shows have or are airing remastered/restored prints??? I've noticed some differences in some of them besides the obvious enhanced picture quality. And what's up with the Flintstones print??? Obvious cuts in some scenes. The restoration and remastering of classic animation intrigues...........just not to the point where I'd go register at GAC which is why I'm asking here. :D
