Well, today Ubisoft released the first real images of Naruto 360. You can get an idea of what the play'll be like, and it looks like a beat-um-up like I suspected. Sadly it won't come out in U.S 'till 2008, but it may be a differnt story for Europe.

Looking good. I'll be renting this one, buying even if it's good enough.

That cel-shading tricked me for a second, and we're still in the relatively early days of this generation. By the time the next batch of consoles come out, who knows.

Yeah that first image messed with me too. Then the little details stuck out.
Let's hope the gameplay is actually good.

Sadly no. This is the first game based of the dub, so that probably contributes to it. Heck, I don't even own a 360. Wii's my only new-gen system.
If anyone's interested in the release dates, this is what I can tell you:
Europe: (Possibly late 07 to early) 08
US: 08
Japan: Unknown (Last/Possibly never)

It's being made by Ubisoft for the 360, so no it won't. And it's based off the English dub.

Japan never got "One Piece: Grand Adventure", either.

That sucks.... I don't think I'm ever going to get a 360, I'm just gonna stick with a Wii.

Thats a good move i sold my 360 it ain't that great. They make many naruto games in japan and hopefully they will also be released in America.
The cell-shading seems to be miles beyond what the Japanese games showed.
Does anyone think by the end of this console life cycle, we might be completely fooled?

Mmm, I got a 360 for Christmas and I'm absolutely loving it. Though I also want a Wii and plan to get one as soon as I get a job, I think Microsoft is superior in at least the network department, as while Nintendo has some sort of online-phobia and has stated no VC games are to have online support, hardly any 360 games don't have SOME form of built-in netplay and almost every single Xbox Arcade game has some form of online functionality (heck, even Symphony of the Night, which is a completely singleplayer game, has an online 'scoreboard' that involves how much exp you've amassed).
Either way, Blue Dragon is a Japanese-made game that just screams Japan from the Akira Toriyama art style to the Dragon Quest-esque feel oozing from it and it's only for 360. I've heard rumors that the original creator (but no longer owner) of the Final Fantasy series thinks the 360 is by far his favorite of the current consoles as well.

Wow, the cel-shading looks very well done. It seems like you are almost playing the actual anime. Too bad I don't have a 360.:crying:
There's supposedly a reversioned Naruto Shippuden Gekito Ninja Taisen EX coming out for Wii in the US next year. It'll be redone with characters to fit where Americans are in the show, or so I hear.

Yep. The only real problem right now is that the models are so stiff. It's only a matter of time before a company finds a way to fix it.
