Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, but it's available on the AS.COM now.

It was a pretty good return to the series. Is the quest for perfect hair over though?

Watched the new PHF episode. Kinda disappointed that they didn't actually have Gerald go to Tuna Mountain like he was supposed to last episode (Or did they?) and that everything just in general made less sense than any episode before.

Perfect Hair Forever really is just 12 Oz. Mouse with better animation disguised as an anime parody.

Good thing I loved 12 Oz. Mouse.

In any case, this episode was pretty funny even if it didn't make sense. I liked the mind-**** discussion between the giraffe and the young man. I also really liked Rod and his new family watching Cat Wars on TV and Rod rambling on about Cat Vader while farting.

I agree with what that guy said last night.

I rather like PHF usually, wish I had paid more attention to it when it was on instead of going to the AS forums to watch everyone say WTF?!?one! to each other for 3 hours. Caught it online today and it was pretty good, hope some more episodes are on the way.

at first glance i thought the show was dull, but i have to say after watching it a few times, it really catches on. The hot dog has to have one of the funniest phrases ever dodalalalalala! The other char reacting to him, makes me die out laughing. I thought this was like 12 oz mouse at first, and instead, am very impressed. Keep the series goin, seeing the hot dog makes my day :D . "Is it a magical bean?" "its a hamburger" "Behold, the hamburger necklace!"

Let me just get something straight. You hate (Not just hate really, you repeatedly post how you simply can't stand Tim & Eric)"Tom Goes to the Mayor" and "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!" but you like "Perfect Hair Forever"? How does that make sense?

it may be hard to believe but it is possible to hate some shows yet like others

Well I for one loved it. If anything I feel like PHF actually works better with multiple viewings. You get over the initial WTF am I watching response, and see there actually is a point to all the insanity. I hope it's not over though with just 7 episodes. (Although it's definetly something I might fork out 10 bucks for if they include them all on 1 dvd).

I finally saw end of evangelion (yes decades late I know). If nothing else, assuming this was the "finale" (with gerald getting hair), the show was a nice companion to that.

Nah, that's not what I was saying. Not at all really, though I came off like that. I was just pointing out it's odd to like this show, and hate Tim & Eric. It's a similar humor in my opinion. Sorry if I came off as rude.

I'd say PHF has far more in common with 12OZMO than T&E. T&E is pretty unique. I can't think of anything to compare them to.

How are they the same? Same writers? Same creators? And yes i cant stand Tim and Eric and TGTTM, i dont like 12 oz mouse but i like perfect hair forever. Different opinions for different shows since they arent made by different people. Does that make sense??

lol arent= are, guess it doesnt make sense after all :P

Tim & Eric's humor is unique, but it can all boil down to random nonsense. Perfect Hair Forever just sets that nonsense in anime setting.

its a parody of anime thats why its random. Tim and Eric and 12 oz mouse arent. When you say random nonsense, isn't that almost half the shows on AS?

I'm glad the show is back with new episodes. I first saw a couple of episodes of the series on my ondemand cable box back in the summer. It was pretty good with all the complete anime nonsense which at times parallels Shin-Chan. Both of which makes fun of anime and Japanese culture.

I loved the patriotic opening and see that Gerald got his hair. Hopefully he loses it again to help fit the title of the show, but who knows what will happen next.

Actually more. I guess you're right, they really aren't very similar. Still, you liking this surprised me.
