Season 2 hopes

Who should we hope to see in Season 2 and beyond on JL.

Thus far we know a few heroes who will be guest starring in this season. The Demon, Metamorpho, Sgt. Rock, and the Blackhawks.

In Season 2 I hope to see Dr. Fate, Green Arrow (voiced by Kelsey Grammar), (although I think they may not as he has been optioned for one of the Bats DTV's), and of course my personal favorite two Capt. Marvel or Plastic Man.

For villians I hope we see Sinestro, Doctor Polaris (voice by Tim Curry), Doctor Cyber (voice by Bebe Neuwirth), Capt. Boomerang or Capt. Cold, and of course with out question.... Darkseid.

I agree with all your guest heroes, tho' I'm not sure about Capt. Marvel. It just doesn't seem right to have him there when Superman is around.

Kelsey Grammer as GA? Hmmmm. I always pictured him as more of a smart-aleck. Having boxing glove, handcuff, and boomerang arrows would be cool, though.

I'll toss in hero requests for Zatanna, the Atom, Steel, and Supergirl. And at least 1 recurrence of Aquaman.

No disputes for the villians list. Add a Starro the Conqueror episode (can you even do JL without at least a Starro reference?). If we're doing Capt. Boomerang and Capt. Cold, throw in the Mirror Master and you've got yourself a Flash highlight episode. An Amazo ep would be neat, along with shots by Dr. T.O. Morrow and Professor Ivo. Maybe a re-telling of the Shaggy Man stories from the 60's JL, too.

Locus from JLA: Year One. That'd be cooool.

Kelsey Grammer? I don't see it...could you explain? I always saw him either as speaking with a faux-British accent or with Jonathan Frakes as his voice.

I've said it before, but it's worth repeating: among others, I want to see Amazo, the Crime Syndicate, Doctor Destiny, the Parasite, Metallo, Mirror Master, and Magog.

Definately an Aquaman followup story.
A guest appearance by the Bat-team.
A guest appearance by Lois and or Supergirl (Love triangel with supes Lois and WW!)
Ras Al Goul (Preferrably a "Tower of Babel" type story, but that might have to wait for at least season 3.)
DAKRSEID, DARKSEID, DARKSEID!
Kyle Rayner, with an explanation of what the heck happened with him.
Mr. Freeze (maybe he could team up with Captain Cold.)
Joker and Harley Quinn.
Brainiac.
All those other people who are cool but I dont know anything about because I only read Batman comics.

Well by way of other heroes, I would like to see some other long-time JLers, like Enlongated Man perhaps. Additionally, I would love to see a team up with Batman and The Question. And a few appearences by: Green Arrow, Steel, Doctor Fate, Captain Atom, and Captain Marvel.

As for villains, would love to see:

-Black Manta (make for a nice Aqua-Man tie in)
-Hector Hammond
-The Reverse Flash

I would love to see - (big surprise here) AZTEK!

I would also like to see the Eradicator, Doomsday would be great, Braniac could be an actual threat to the entire league, Sinestro and I think that the Bizarro JL team could be great.

As for heroes - Aztek, Aquaman again, Steel, Green Arrow, Kyle Rayner (as guardian of earth, John as sector guardian), and the Ray.

And I would pay outta my pocket for a Batman/Question. I would exchange that episode for Critters or the Demon one. Maybe it'll be a DTV, that would be cool as hell.

I'd like to see some original villians this season and next. I'd like BT and company to build upon the JLA. That said I'd also like to see the Atom and Nightwing as mentioned on another thread, Green Arrow, Kyle Rayner and Aquaman again.

Villain wise, I'd like to see Darkseid which we will be seeing, also Ra's al Ghul, maybe Vandal Savage, Asmodel with an appearance by Zauriel (I really liked Zauriel), Amazo and Prometheus teamed with other villains, Star Conqueror (Recent Morrison version), the Key, and Despero.

We're be getting Vandal Savage in the series final. Next season I would like to see the STAS Brainiac, Despero,Dr. Destiny, Amazo, more of the Injustice Gang(the current roster) more of Mongul and Grodd and Dr. Polaris.

I want to see the Gods of New Genesis explored more. They were never really explained too well in S:TAS, as well as Darkseid. Superman got lucky in legacy, and I think that we need to see that.

Also I gotta see more of Doctor Fate. I think he is so cool the way he appears with the ankh in the background. It would be cool to see him go against Felix Faust. That would see an awesome Magic battle. :D

Wonder Woman's Origin!!!

Timm and co. don't have to dedicate an entire two-parter to it, but they could at least have Diana tell the other members of the team about how she got the costume and name.

-Basically, the Oracle of the Amazons began foretelling of the danger about to destroy earth itself (the aliens of course) and knew that the Gods desired a member of the Amazon race to venture out and stop the madness. Hippolyte reluctantly agreed to hold a tournament in order to chose a champion, refusing to let Diana participate, her only child granted to her by the gods and made from the clay of the island - enter mother/daughter on horseback on the beach scene from S.O. - but having been spoken to by the Godesses who gave her life in a dream, Diana disguses herself and partcipates and wins. Hippolyte refuses to let her go, even though the "sign" the gods promised once the champion was found has appeared - the costume (going into where the costume came from could easily send the story off track). Diana in the night speaks to Gaea and Athena and co. and then goes to man's world via porthole - enter Diana stripping at Temple of Athena scene.

Badi-bing bada-boom! Once this is done, everyone will understand Wonder Woman much better and her mother won't seem like such an over-protective nutcase. It's taken forever to see Wonder Woman in this form. She's the greatest DC Heroine - Do her justice with a proper origin!!!!


Of course, I want to see Ares be eventually discovered as the one behind all the grief the League has been put through - at least in Diana's God-worshipping eyes. Amazo is a given, as is Darkseid, but they had better not pretend "Legacy" didn't occur. Superman and Darkseid are a grudge match.

I also want to know more about Hawkgirl, who's been little more than an attractive wallpaper for the League. She is just so wierd: The Wings, the outfit, Thanagar - there needs to be an explanation. Martian Manhunter needs to be seen as a sort of Yoga for the group, isolating himself in the satelite or hiding himself among humans. Wally West needs to be seen, since he's the only member who could get away with a not-so-confusing secret identity. Finally, an attraction between Superman and Diana should emerge...which could wrap up the season with an explanation as to Lois and Clark's current relationship.
