Don't expect any Gotham rogues (other than the Joker) to appear in Season One. From what I've collected, Timm & crew are avoiding the Bat-well so they can work on introducing other characters from the DCU to the animated program. Same reason why Darkseid won't be making an appearance.

If JL is picked up for a second season (a no-brainer for CN) the staff may then bring back some viallians from BTAS & the Superman series.

You mention Ivy. I have a neat idea. What if the flirty Flash were under the vixen's spell. This could make for an interesting Batman-Hawkgirl team-up. I don't know much about her but from what people write, Hawkgirl is quite the detective. It'd be neat to watch her & the Bat pursue the Flash & Ivy. I also like when Hawkgirl goes into berserker mode a la Wolvie.

I'd also like to see plots w/ Ra's Al Ghul & Darkseid.
But I'm interested in learning more about the DCU outside of Gotham City.

They resisted the temptation to go back to Batman's Rogues Gallery right away because it could have become too much of a crutch (the exception is the Joker--who's above the other Rogues and, well, fit into the Injustice Gang episode). Timm has stated that they will probably appear, just not yet.

However, it is known that Poison Ivy has had her name thrown around quite a bit in interviews. She's been mentioned as a potential member of the Secret Society and many of the staff writers have pitched Ivy-centered stories. The allure is irresistible: Ivy is one of the more popular characters, plus they could play up the whole Greek myth/Persephone angle in a Wonder Woman/Poison Ivy fight.

Personally, I'm hoping for an episode with all of DC Comics' plant based characters involved--Swamp Thing, Jason Woodrue, Poison Ivy, and Solomon Grundy.
