Well, this is it, the show is over...

I was tired last night, so I didn't post...then I forgot this morning, and was busy avataring this afternoon..

So a day later...

IM has disapeared..

Hey thanks for getting this going. I was going to hunt down the old thread...but if you look at my sig...

Spoilers ahead.....




Anyhoo...The first part (the week before) really had us going in an entirely different direction than the second. We ended up with the Official's threat to kill Darien before letting him have the cure, Clare's in tears, and everything looks grim.

Fast forward to the second part. Boom - Clare gives Darien the cure and he's outta there right in the first scene. Whaaat??? I almost got whiplash it happened so fast. Bobby was so cool though "My gun's emptied and locked chief, sorry". :cool:

How wrong was it to see Darien with the Feebs? You just knew that relationship wasn't going to last. The whole locust/genetic plant story was secondary, it just got us from point A to point B, and was pretty lame. But the end was surely open ended. Are they planning future movies? That would be awesome.

All in all it was enjoyable as an episode, but as a series ender, not so much, it just seemed to be missing something. Arnaud is still out there, Crysalis is still out there. I guess it was supposed to show how much Darien had grown since we first met him, but heck I always liked him as a thief. The Official went from hard nosed to sniveling in about ten seconds flat. Bobby at least proved he's not a sellout. And whatever happened with Alex Monroe? She hasn't been seen in like a month. They're keeping the status quo, not great but not terrible either.

I liked how they gave Darien the cure...cause the predictible thing would have been to wait till the end, and have Darien disapear into the Sunset...

I liek how they left it open ended...maybe we can hope for more - either in film, Made For TV Movies...or other...
