BATMAN: MURDERER Speculation (Spoilers)

I gotta wonder. Awhle back in an interview, Chuck Dixon said that the some characters in his book will be playing a big part "in the future". So - to any ROBIN readers, who have been the current villians of the title...becuase maybe they are connected to the MURDERER storyline.

Wouls it even make sense? I gotta wonder though, if Dixon's statement was pertaining to this or maybe something else.

But also, if Steph did the dirty deed, then we'd have one more reason to hate Dixon.

I found it interesting that the victim (spoiler) was investigating Batman.

I was thinking, that perhaps she was digging to deep at Wayne Manor (took her shoes off to get better footing while searching or just to keep quite) because she had a hunch/lead and maybe someone killed her to cover up who Batman really is.

The killer might not have know who Batman really was and found it a nice set up to have her ex-playboy take the fall or perhaps if the killer did know who Batman is but he/she didn't have the time to cover up the crime and fled the scene.

Maybe the killer murdered her just so they could be the ones to expose Batman, using her to do all the leg work ealier, then killing her and seting Batman up for an even larger fall.
