<a href="http://www.countingdown.com">Countingdown</a> reports that according to the Herald Sun, Brad Pitt was briefly attached to "Batman: Year One," but director Darren Aronofsky says the lead role has not yet been cast.
Aronofsky, who helped write the script for the next installment, says studio bosses wanted "some edge, and a different take to the material".
But how far back to the Bat Cave will it go? "It won't be (Batman's alter ego) Bruce Wayne at 15," Aronofsky insisted. "That's one of the things still being decided: how old Batman is as the film starts?"
The movie is rumored is be looking at a 2004 release date.
