OK, I need help. You see, I'm starting a website, and I need mucho-grande help with something. My superhero section needs material. I am a diehard comics freak, but I'm so-so on current continuity. That's where I need people's help. Could someone give me the most up to date info on origins and major events for Superman, Batman, and Spiderman? I feel absolutely ridiculous doing this, but I don't want to put, say, a pre-Zero Hour summary of the origin for Batman. I will not use your actual text, but merely shape the info into my own writing. I will put anyone's ToonZone ID on my soon-to-be Thanx page that helps me!

Umm, Spiderman (in all his incarnations) is still powered by the Bite of a Radioactive Spider
(although JMS's continuity posed the idea that the spider might have been trying to give Pete the power, when the radiation killed it)
Went from wrestler to Superhero after a criminal he ignored killed his Uncle Ben.

Current titles are Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker Spider man, Spider Man Tangled Web, and ultimate Spider Man.

Batman:

Allies:Nightwing, Robin (Tim Drake), Oracle (Barbara Gordon), Batgirl (Cassandra Cain). Possible other allies: Spoiler, Huntress (I know he doesn't like the Huntress, but, sometimes they work together..sorta..I think)

Villians: Everyone. No ones died...(if they have, it's no major villians)

Stories:

1995-Knightfall. A new villian, Bane, came to defeat Batman. Bane broke Batman's back. Batman then inlisted the help of Jean Paul Valley to become Batman. Jean Paul shut off the cave from Robin and Nightwing.

Jean Paul changed the bat-suit to a new design (seen here (http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Stargate/2954/azraelw1.GIF) ) and defeated Bane.

Dr. Shondra Kinsolving healed Bruce's broken back. She was a super-natural type person and just by touching him, she healed him. But in the process, her mind was reverted back to a 4 year old girl (I don't quite understand that whole thing).

After Bruce was healed, he took Jean Paul down. Jean Paul later became Azrael.

99-00(?)-No Mans Land

Gotham City suffered a huge earthquake, totalling everything in the city, except for the buildings built by Wayne Enterprises (they were quake proof). After hearing about this, Washington decided to cut Gotham off from the rest of the US, making it a No Mans Land. The Gotham Bridge was set with charges and detonated, sending the bridge into the river.

Eventually, Washington came to their senses and let Gotham back. Lex Luthor helped rebuild the city (I think anyway..I'm not finished w/ the novel. it's what I've heard).

There was "The Last Laugh" story Arc and the current "Bruce Wayne: Murderer?" and "Bruce Wayne: Fugitive!" storys, but I havn't read those...

More on NML

Yes, Lex helped rebuild Gotham, and his corprate backing was instramental in getting the Gov. to recognize Gotham again. It should also be noted that Batman wasn't present in the NML for the 1st few months, and it was durring NML that Cassandra became Batgirl (After batman stripped the title from the Huntress, who had resurected Batgirl in Batman's absence)
