I wish I could just post a picture of my TiVo's To-Do list. It's a graveyard of great shows that are no longer shown.

Here are some of my favorites (in alphabetical, not preferential, order):

24
Battlestar Galactica (new series)
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (only season 1 -- hated season 2)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Dead Like Me
Firefly
The Greatest American Hero
It's Your Move
Matrix
Monk
Mythbusters
NFL (sports)
Red Dwarf
The Rockford Files
Slamball (sports)
Spy Net
Star Trek (the original series)
Stargate SG-1 (the seasons with Jack O'Neill)
The War Next Door
Wild Wild West

Of course, if the original poster had allowed animated shows, this list would be at least doubled! :D

Favorite live-action drama of all time: Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I started watching this in the fourth grade, during the show's first season. I've basically modeled my wit after the characters on this show. When I was a kid, I wanted to be Buffy, and now that I'm kinda grown-up, I still want to.

Current favorite live-action drama: Veronica Mars - the first season is probably the best full season of television I've ever had the priviledge to watch. Superb acting and absolutely brilliant writing!

Favorite sitcom of all time: NewsRadio - one of the funniest shows, with THE greatest ensemble cast I've ever seen: Phil Hartman (personal hero - may Gad rest him), Dave Foley, Stephen Root, Maura Tierney, and freakin Andy Dick!

Current favorite sitcom: Friends - I finally decided to give in to the fact that I'm a girl and watch it. And heck, it ran for ten years, so it feels like I'm never going to run out of new episodes to see! It's also kinda funny to ask people - Who's your favorite Friend? I like Chandler.

I don't know about all time, because I'm 23 and have bad taste, but the five best shows "of all time", in order and with terrible explanations as to why:

5. Walker Texas Ranger
Unintenional comedy goldmine.

4. MacGyver
Did anyone see the episode where MacGyver is dangling from a bridge and the bridge explodes?

And MacGyver lives?

Dude.

3. Pee Wee's Playhouse
We probably wouldn't have as many Larry Fishburne movies. Think about that.

Also, this show is hysterical when you're not supposed to be operating heavy machinery.

2. And-1 Mix Tape
This is the single greatest reality show ever created. Get a mid-level sneaker manufacturer to sponsor a team of Globetrotter wannabes, hire an announcer who sounds like Jermaine Dupree being assaulted by fire ants and throw them on a bus that takes them cross-country to humiliate junior college and street teams (and themselves).

Oh, and they all have to have ridiculous nicknames that have nothing to do with their basketball prowess.

And it's not a mix tape at all.

1. The A-Team
I actually think having to explain why this is the greatest live action TV show of all time is completely unneccessary.

Notes:
Yes, I put MacGyver ahead of Walker.
