That's not good enough for me though. I want the classic 80's G.I. Joe I grew up watching.

Eh, give it time. GI Joe's just starting its comeback with the new toy line and comic. I'm guessing the old TV show will either show up on TV or at least on DVD.

You do know there's a new GI Joe comic being published, correct? Picking up where the old one left off (well, many years later actually). And they're rereleasing the old comics in trade paperback form.

No prob! I'd recommend the new comic - its very good so far, and they're only on issue #3 so far, so you can still jump in from the start.
