"The Atomic Brain" is good, but "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" is better. And the movie rules them all.

Oh yeah, how could I forget the movie, my all-time favorite! And, hey does anybody find it strange that the movie that's being MST3ked ("This Island Earth") has a character named Brak in it? And another interesting thing is Tom's comment, "It's the Brak Show, starring me, I'm Brak!" Who would've known that CN was turning out a series in 1999 called "The Brak Show?" Interesting....:D

I wish I had gotten to see more of this show. I know I've missed a lot of classic stuff from CC. As it is I've seen most of the Sci-Fi ones and a handful of earlier shows on tape.
My favorite is The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies. The movie is bad enough, but the bonus musical numbers are just too much. I think it was the exotic dancers flouncing around to "The Little Drummer Boy" that made this my favorite.

I can't remember all the names, but I'll try my best to list them. >.<;;
For some reason I thought the one called "Jack Frost" was hilarious. I also liked "Riding with Death" and the one about the Mole People. I don't remember the actual name. All I know is that my cousin and I have a bunch of inside jokes about that one. ;)
I saw "This Island Earth" and I remember the Brak thing you're talking about. I had never thought about how CN made a show by that name...I guess I just never put the two together! :p

I love MST3000!
How could you guys forget all the Hercules movies, all the Gamera movies, or "Santa Clause vs. the Martians"? ("I'm here to eat candy canes and kick butt, and I'm all out of candy canes!") :)
I also loved the movie, and this one campy Japanese movie ("Orbit Man" or something like that) in the Mike & Sci Fi Channel days.
There are some one liners from that show I remember to this day.
Tom (watching a documentary about NORAD from the 50's): "The Canadians, however, rely on the natural RADAR of pine trees."
Crow (watching a monster movie from the 60's): "It's a big giant slug for cryin' out loud! How hard can it be to kill this damn thing! Just pour a @#$% (purposely done audio beep) truckload of salt on it!!!"
Crow (watching "Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders"): "Remember kids, believe in magic, or I'll kill you."
Tom (also watching "Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders"): "Why couldn't the monkey have killed the kid from INSIDE the garbage can???"
This list could go on and on... :)

I already named my favorite episodes on the DVD forum, but what the heck...
(Joel)
Hercules Unchained
Marooned (It was re-titled SPACE TRAVELERS on CC)
Teenagers from Outer Space
Manos
Cave Dwellers (This is called BLADE MASTER at my local video store)
Godzilla/Megalon
Operation-Kid Brother
Secret Agent Super Dragon
(Mike)
Zombie Nightmare (My most favorite of the mike era)
Alien from L.A.
Final Sacrifice
Horror at Party Beach
Space Mutiny
Overall, I always thought the "colorized" episodes were the funniest.

Anybody remember "Mr. B. Natural," "The Chicken of Tomorrow," "Last Clear Chance," "Robot Rumpus," or "Catching Trouble?"

I have tons, though sadly, it's only limited to the small handful of episodes the Sci-Fi channel airs, or the ones on DVD, or the ones I have downloaded off Morpheus (about 4 or 5). I only just discovered this series in 1997 or 98, so I really missed out, huh?
Manos: The Hands of Fate (Torgo is one of the most unfunny funny characters I have ever seen! This movie is terrible and I love it!)
Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders (Crow's end quote "Remember to believe in magic... or I'll KILL you!" had me in stitches). My friends and I love this one so much that we have our own little in-jokes (the evil toy monkey included).
The Deadly Mantis
The Mole People
That one Canadian movie with Rowsdower (they really picked on that poor kid didn't they? :D )
Invasion of the Neptune Men
Overdrawn at the Memory Bank (they were really mean to that obese guy! That one scene where Servo let out this loud cough had me rolling on the floor)
Fave shorts:
Here comes the Circus
Hired part II
Robot Rump (Hilarious!)
Alphabet Antics ("D" is for damned, as in Village Of)

The name of that episode is "The Final Sacrifice" and it's HILARIOUS! The funniest line is one of Troy's, "Rowsdower?"

Wow, where to begin? I missed a lot of the CC days, but thanks to home video & the Tradin' Post, I'm catching up. Here's the favorites so far, in no real order.
Manos
Jack Frost
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies
Skydivers
Godzilla vs. Megalon
Werewolf
The Creeping Terror
Pumaman (although the host segments aren't all that good)
The Final Sacrifice
The Touch of Satan
Eegah!
The Atomic Brain
Pod People
Soultaker ('cuz my one friend absolutely loved this movie & was SO offended when it was MiSTed--makes it all the better)
Merlin's Shop ('cuz it's just so evil, and it's even more evil that it's apparently packaged as an all-ages film)
Shorts:
"Chicken of Tomorrow"
"Once Upon a Honeymoon"
"Mr. B. Natural" (well, of course)
"Aquatic Wizards"
"Catching Trouble" (and the host segment that follows :D )
"Robt Rumpus"
"A Case of Spring Fever"
"Last Clear Chance" & "Days of Our Years"
"Out of this World"
"The Home Economics Story"
"Are You Ready for Marriage?" ("Never make light of BOING, son.")
There. That should cover all of the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

I have three tapes full of shorts that Best Brains and Rhino put out a few years ago. Last Clear Chance is simply hilarious! I dont have the MST3K version of Robot Rumpus, but I do have that short somewhere in my Gumby collection. I remember Crow and Tom Servo being horrified that Gumby beheaded the robot and mounted it's head on his garage.
"Oh, your off in your own little word now. We're in a whole weird area here" ---Tom Servo on Mr. B Natural.

Yes! Some of the greatest lines ever!
"Here comes the devil!"
"Hey, look, it's Beelzebub the Clown!"
"Bing Crosby's relationship with his son Gary is here re-enacted."
"It's a full-contact 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf'!" "Don't talk about our clown, Martha."
I'm with Clayface about "Manos" being the best of the features. And I'd kill to be able to see "The Day the Earth Froze" again. Sampo, anyone?

I don't think "Plan 9 from Outer Space" was ever MSTied.
You're probably thinking of "Prince of Space" which is very much alike "Plan 9."

Prince of Space, man, that was one BAAAD movie. Yeah, I know, the whole point of MST3K is watching bad movies, but I mean that one really, really stunk. "Merlin's Shop" was on this morning, one of my favorites - especially the last half, when the movie focuses on that little toy monkey. The quotes from there are some of the funniest ever - I felt like I had done a thousand sit-ups by the time I finally stopped laughing.
I also like Cave Dwellers, Mitchell, and the MST3K movie ("Pull up, Tinkerbell! Pull up!!") :D

The MST3k Movie/This Island Earth ("Into the Wienie Mobile... >Whine< Wienie Man, away!")
Assignment: Venuzuela (a short--you can only order it from the Info Club at http://www.mst3kinfo.com but it's so worth it)

Cave Dwellers is probably my favorite. It's the first one I saw (not counting the movie anyways) and I nearly died at the hang-glider scene. I was already laughing like crazy just seeing Ator on that thing and the Servo started singing "and he flies...in his crazy contraption..." Pod People is also up there. Good ole Trumpy.
Mitchell and Manos are also excellent. So is Atomic Brain, with the old lady walking around the house to Servo's songs. Can anyone tell that I really like it when Servo sings? :D "She creaks, she cracks..."
Unfortunately I've only seen the CC ones on VHS. But I have a lot of them, and also taped a few of the SciFi ones too. The "No Springs!" short from the second to last ep. was great. :D
