Just basic stuff, but thought someone might be interested...

> Also, question about the screening. If these kids don't like it, will the pilot and show get scrapped alltogether, or will it go back for revisioning and get retested?>>

Depends on the results - if it fails miserably they'll scrap it - if it
shows tremendous promise they may try to rework it - but odds are it will need to test very well to continue development. They're not going to spend alot of money on the development for the show because they don't own the characters - so let's hope it succeeds fantastically.

> There can be a danger with testing this type of show.

Focus testing is a danger for every proposed TV show, but every proposed TV show is focus tested. It's the state of the union.

> Some kids may still remember the original, and be very dissapointed it dosn't continue the story line, and confused. Others may enjoy it completly, and give very posotive reviews, not knowing of the original, or the source material...>>
> Why not bring in TMNT fans to review it, since they are more than likley to be the core audience?>>

Because they know that TMNT fans will overwhelmingly support the show. Focus tests are like movie screenings, where the studio is trying to guage "overall" reaction with a small "melting pot" group that they think represents the view of the entire nation.

> Unless the obvious answer is they want to build a new fan base?>>

I'd assume that they want to have as many fans as possible, since commercial sales are based on overall ratings... but they're not going to go to the TMNT mailing list to seek testers, because they know what the result will be.

> Finally, last one :). Is there a settled voice cast list for the series yet?>>

Nope.

> I'd be very interested in knowing who the studio chose, and if the original Raph, Rob Paulson was invited to return....considering he does regular work for the WB...>>>

It's very possible if he works for Warners and he wants the job. Warner will handle the hiring, so if there's an inside person with experience, I'd imagine he'd have a good shot at it.
