I would think so. They have to be. I mean, since no men are allowed on the island, they can't breed. They'd be like that religious group, whose name escapes me at the moment, that made all those inventions and stuff, but eventually died out because they took a vow of celibacy....so yeah. They're probably immortal. :0)

I think they aren't immortal, per se, but they never age. Also, they leave, periodically, to mingle in the world of men, as well as reproduce. Granted, WW was the first to leave in over a hundred years; they don't need to reproduce often.

Diana "died" in the comics a couple of years ago so I guess they can die. Also, Hypolitta created Diana from clay I believe so there goes the reproduction theory. Only thing is, I don't know if Diana was the only one forged by clay or not. Hope that helps.

Howdy,
I'm not a Wonder Woman expert, nor do I play one on TV, but...
In the current comics continuity, WW is not your typical Amazon. She was formed out of clay by Hippolyta and given life by the Greek Gods, but she's the only one who is like that. I'm pretty sure the other Amazons are immortal in the comics, though, and some have powers beyond the norm (e.g., Artemis), but can't say for sure.
They have deviated in a number of ways from the comics in JL, so I don't think you can conclude anything based on the comics. Since Diana saw and recognized a vase in the museum in Paradise Lost (pt. 1), you can deduce that she's been alive since ancient Greek times (4000 years or so), and it's not a stretch to assume she's immortal. However, they haven't given evidence either way to say whether the Amazons are immortal or not or, for that matter, if Diana came from the lump of clay, or if all Amazons can fly and beat the stuffing out of Superman. For all we know, WW is like the Greatest American Hero, and all her powers derive from her costume.

Also, in the comics the Gods resurrected Diana and she temoprarily became a goddess and her mother took her place. A year later, Diana lost her godhood and still live. Last year, the current comics version of Hippolyta was killed in the DC crossover Our Worlds at War.

It's your standard comic book immortality clause: she's immortal unless someone actively murders her.
