There's a proposal in the works for a New Warriors Volume 3, with a good twist to it. There's more information to be found at:

There's also a petition to make it happen, a message board, and an (e)mailing list you can join if you enjoy the New Warriors!!

Great website... run by Flank (I believe?) who is a part of my New Warriors list. Gonna have to twap him for not giving me that new URL. :D Or if he did, I will twap myself for missing it. :D

Come on folks, let's rally and get those New Warriors back where they deserve to be - in a monthly title!

While i am a Big Warriors fan, I am not overly thrilled with the idea. Don't get me wrong it makes a lot of sense to bring it back to its roots but I was a bigger fan of Nova and Night thrasher.

So i don't think this one will do a whole lot better because its missin them... then again it could blow my socks off. here to hopin it does...

Heh, well trust me you're not the only one who has qualms with it... I run the dern site... and I can't believe they don't have Namorita in it along with Nova...

But my thinking? If we at least GET a New Warriors series out there, maybe with enough fan mail to the series, we could get in whatever characters we'd like to see. With any luck, anyway.

Yeah thats true... I'd also kinda like to see Darkhawk as a permanent character. But heres to dreaming

Art looks good. Hopefully the warriors will be given another run out in the sun. I loved the first series (well up until 50 at least)....

Which one? Flank's or newwarriors.com? If mine, thanks for the kind words - still working on it! If Flank's I will pass the good word to him. :D

Yeah, I really like Jeremy Rock's art. :D

As for liking New Warriors up to #50... seems to be the common thing... cuz right after, Fabain left the series, and it seemed to lose a lot of readership. I am the same way, most of my favorite New Warriors is 50 and before, but post 50 had some cool concepts and some cool characters (like Timeslip)

The artwork is great but the lack of Nova makes the book less interesting to me. Nova was my fave New Warrior and I picked up every issue of the awesome 90's Nova title. Without Nova I simply have no interest in New Warriors.

I agree... I am not fond of the idea that it doesn't have the mandatory three to me: Nova, Namorita and Speedball (he's in it, but he needs the other two). Would also love to see Night Thrasher (back in his armor, rather than out of it, as he was seen in Volume Two).
