This is the new Naruto game coming out in the US for the Wii. It has 14 playable and Wii controls.

The Naruto franchise isn't exactly idling about. Games based on the anime are aplenty, covering just about every current-generation console and handheld. Now the spiky-haired blonde ninja and friends are taking on next-gen platforms in the US--beginning with Nintendo's Wii.
Tomy Corporation and D3Publisher of America today announced Naruto: Clash of Ninja MVZ, due out for the Wii this fall. The game uses the same core mechanics as developer Eighting's Naruto Shippuuden: Getikou Ninja Taisen EX, which was released in Japan, but it won't just be a simple North American localization.
A D3 representative confirmed to GameSpot that the storyline of the game, character artwork, and environments will be different from that of Getikou Ninja Taisen EX to match up with the North American version of Shonen Jump Naruto.
Clash of Ninja MVZ will include 14 characters, multiplayer support for four combatants, nine gameplay modes, and attacks that use "ninja-like movements" via the motion-sensitive Wii Remote.

14 characters? Considering CoN2 had 23 and CoN3 had 29, that's kind of a jip. It's not even going to have as much as it's prequel...

EX had 14 characters, so I guess they decided to just rework the characters that are already in there rather than adding any new ones.

My guesses: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Itachi, Kabuto(he didn't show up until CoN4, but oh well), Kisame(same deal here)........plus three random people that are unimportant to the story arc this will match up with. Maybe Gaara, Third Hokage, and...um...Choji?

What the hell does MVZ mean anyway?

If this is the case, then it's probably an American-made game that uses the engine from GNT:EX. (similar to One Piece: Grand Adventure)
Yep. I called it in the last thread.

I probably won't get it, unless it looks so amazing I simply must buy it. 14 characters isn't worth $50.00, so I'll throw it on my Christmas list.

Heres a link to an Interview from IGN with Clash of the Ninja MVZ's producer theres some new info about the game like no online play. Also Clash of the Ninja 3 and 4 probably will not make it stateside because, of the abandoning of support for the gamecube. I have a problem with that though they could just port the games over to the Wii like Nintendo did with Zelda:TP.
