That could be interesting, considering how he slows time up and all. Perhaps Flash would only be running like a normal person instead with super-speed if that were to happen? That would certainly be a bummer for him, till he caught CK, that is.

The Clock King would be an awesome villain for Flash! He would be able to catch him while he slowed down time though since hed still be normal since hes so fast.

Hey, that's one of my own episode ideas! :p

(1) Batman and Flash must team up to stop The Clock King and The Shade, who have teamed up together to cause trouble in Gotham City. (Would be a cool one-part episode.)

(2) The Injustice Gang, now commanded by Darkseid, goes to Atlantis to stir up trouble. Darkseid has given them resources and commanded them to start a war between the "surface world" countries and Atlantis. The JL must team up with Aquaman to stop them before they start a major war!

(3) Speaking of war, Wonder Woman finds out that the god Ares is at it again, trying to start World War III on Earth. (He claims to have started both World Wars I and II, and says "Third time's the charm!") And guess who has become Ares's right hand man? Felix Faust! Now, Wonder Woman and Dr. Fate team up in an attempt to stop them before they can instigate World War III.

(4) Joker, using the Injustice Gang's resources, has broke open Arkham Asylum! All the major Batman villians are on the loose, including Bane, Scarecrow, Riddler, Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn, The Mad Hatter, and even Killer Croc. Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin (Tim Drake, of course, since we have Nightwing) make a cameo appearance to help out, but it proves to be too much even for them. So Batman calls the JL to help him out (for once, instead of the other way around, like it ususally is!). Superman and Wonder Woman answer Batman's call for help.

(5) As part of Darkseid's elaborate plot for revenge on Superman after the butt-kicking that was given to him in "Legacy", Darkseid has sent ships to the remains of Krypton to gather as much Kryptonite as possible. Well, guess who was there at the time collecting Kryptonite for the purposes of finding a cure? Supergirl! Well, Darkseid takes Supergirl hostage, and tortures her for information, and does Kryptonite experiments on her. The JL (everyone but Batman, who does (and should!) always stay on Earth) comes to her rescue. This two-parter gets pretty ugly...

(6) In a great toungue-in-cheek episode that could be lovingly called "Another Girls' Night Out", Batgirl and Supergirl team up with Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl to stop an all-female cast of villians that have teamed up to attempt to take over Themiscera -- Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Livewire, Circe, Tsukuri, and Star Sapphire -- and this fight is for keeps!

(7) Sinestro, who has been kept in a maximum security prison on Earth, breaks out. And, he makes it back to the source of his powers, and obtains another yellow ring. When he attacks Earth, John Stewart isn't used to dealing with a ring wielder with such talent, so when he calls Oa for help, they send another Earth native -- Kyle Rainer. Since becoming a GL, Kyle has been patrolling another sector of the Galaxy, and this two-parter -- his only appearance on JL -- shows Kyle and John work together, their ways of using their rings very different, in another fight to the finish against Sinestro!

It's ironic recommending the Clock King, since the current Zoom's powers are time-based.

Still, i'd prefer they use the classic Prof. Zoom to avoid being redundant and because it's a much stronger concept.

I think the idea of using the Clock King as a Flash villain could work - but what would his motivation be? Honestly, besides his origin episode on BTAS, he wasn't really driven to do much. Yeah, he's obsessed with time and all, but what's his motivation to do any wrongdoings that don't involve Mayor Hill? If a new motivation could be created for this character (as was done for Mr. Freeze when BTAS was crafted), I think the Clock King could work very well. The time gimmick certainly lends itself to many possibilities.

He could even become an official member of the Flash's villains line-up (of whom I know no one, really). Remember, both the Scarecrow and Solomon Grundy were originally Superman villains (Scarecrow first appeared in a WORLD'S FINEST comic in the 40's), but now they're part of Batman's infamous rogues gallery. Maybe it'd be a good move for CK to switch teams.

Just a quick note...

The Scarecrow did originally appear in the pages of World's Finest in Fall, 1941, but it was actually in the pages of the Batman story from that issue, not Superman. (For the first ten years or so of that title Superman and Batman appeared in two unrelated stories within the book. Eventually, each issue would contain only one story, starring both of the heroes.) So Scarecrow has always been a Batman villain.

And Solomon Grundy was originally a foe of the Golden Age Green Lantern, making his debut in 1944 in All-American Comics starring GL. It's true though that ever since Jeff Loeb and Tim Sales' Batman: The Long Halloween a few years back, Grundy has been written as an early foe of Batman (after battling the original GL and the JSA in the 1940's).
