KIDS' WB! LEADS AS #1 NETWORK AMONG ALL SATURDAY MORNING COMPETITION IN BOYS 6-11 AND AMONG BROADCAST COMPETITION IN KIDS 2-11, KIDS 6-11 AND BOYS 2-11

Breakout Series "The Mummy" Captures #2 Overall Program Spot In Boys 6-11 And Ranks As #2 Broadcast Program In Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 And Boys 2-11

BURBANK, CA (January 31, 2002) On Saturday, January 26, Kids' WB! led the morning as the #1 network among all competition, including cable, in Boys 6-11 (6.0/23), achieving a 54% ratings and a 44% share increase over last week. The network continues to dominate as the #1 broadcast network among Kids 2-11 (3.4/14), Kids 6-11 (4.1/18) and Boys 2-11 (4.9/18). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! beat ABC (1.9/8), Fox Kids (1.9/8) and CBS (1.3/6).

Pokémon: Johto League Champions, at 10:00 a.m. ET, dominated as the #1 program among all Saturday morning competition in Boys 2-11 (6.4/20) and Boys 6-11 (7.9/27). The animé adventure finished the morning as the #2 broadcast and cable program in Kids 6-11 (5.5/20), tying Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob SquarePants" (5.5/21). Among the broadcast competition, Pokémon: Johto League Champions took the #1 program spot in Kids 2-11 (4.5/16), Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11.

The breakout series The Mummy, in its 9:30 a.m. ET time period, captured all Saturday morning competition to rank as the #2 program in Boys 6-11 (7.4/24) and the #3 program in Boys 2-11 (5.9/19). The high-adventure series posted significant gains over last week in Boys 6-11 (+111%/+85%) and Boys 2-11 (+103%/+73%). The Mummy ranked as the #2 broadcast program for the morning in Kids 2-11 (3.9/14) and Kids 6-11 (4.8/17).

The second season premiere of the high-adventure series Static Shock, at 8:30 a.m. ET, won among the time period broadcast competition to rank #1 in Kids 2-11 (2.6/12), Kids 6-11 (3.5/17), Boys 2-11 (3.9/17) and Boys 6-11 (5.3/21). The series' strong debut achieved a 100% ratings growth and a 71% gain in share among Kids 2-11. Static Shock finished among the top 10 broadcast and cable programs for the morning in Boys 6-11.
Topping its time period competition in Boys 6-11 (5.8/20), the hit series X-Men: Evolution, at 10:30 a.m. ET, also ranked as the #3 broadcast program for the morning in Kids 2-11 (3.8/14) and Kids 6-11 (4.4/17). The teenage mutant series beat its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 (5.1/17), Girls 2-11 (2.5/11) and Girls 6-11 (3.0/13).
Jackie Chan Adventures, at 9:00 a.m. ET, captured its time period competition, including cable, to rank #1 among Boys 2-11 (5.6/19) and Boys 6-11 (6.4/22) ń also taking the #3 broadcast program spot in these two key demos for the morning.
In its 11:00 a.m. ET time period, The Nightmare Room scared up a #1 win among the competition in Boys 6-11 (5.3/22), tying Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold" (5.3/21), and won among the time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.4/14), Kids 6-11 (3.9/17), Boys 2-11 (4.7/17), Girls 2-11 (2.0/9) and Girls 6-11 (2.5/12).
Yu-Gi-Oh!, at 11:30 a.m. ET, dueled the time period competition to rank #1 among Boys 2-11 (4.6/18), Boys 6-11 (5.9/25) and Kids 6-11 (4.1/20), tying Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold" (4.1/21).
