Is it called Adult Swim Action? Anyway will the shows be less edited since it is adult swim?

Yes, it's called Adult Swim Action, and the only show that will have AS level edits will be Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop. All the others will have their Y7 Toonami edits. They claim that these shows are just "place holders" until they can acquire some more adult action shows.

who claimed anything? In the only official press releases I've seen, theres been no mention of those shows edited for babies being anything but permanent.

It wasn't in the press release; it was in the letter from the Toonami.com webmaster, I think. I can't really remember, but I could dig it up again for you if you want to see it.
