I love Kingdom Hearts. It's my favorite game ever!

I'm really hoping Chain Of Memories for PS2 comes to the US/Canada... it looks really good so far.

I do!!!....Kingdom Hearts is my favorite video game series(though I also like the Mario games, and the few of the Legend of Zelda series I've played).....I've loved Disney animation all my life, and getting to play games that have many of my favorite characters included(and in many cases, voiced by the same actor/actress from the movie) is really neat...I also like most of the new characters(except DiZ,who I think is kind of a jerk, awesome voice though),and this was my first introduction to the Final Fantasy characters(I liked Auron alot, his combo attack with Sora is very cool; I also liked Seifer, partly because he was voiced by the guy who played Eric on Boy Meets World, which is one of my fave TV shows)....
Out of all three US games,my favorite is Chain of Memories(I enjoyed the "card" battle system)...
I'm also hoping for a US release of the second Final Mix(or at the very least, the Chain of Memories PS2 remake)...but at least I've got other games to keep me busy for awhile(Okami,Final Fantasy XII,and Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess)...

Love it. Have perfect files on KH1 and 2. Currently trying to beat KH1 on Expert. I'm importing KH2 Final Mix+, too.

It and Zelda are actually my favorite series.

I love Kingdom Hearts, just look at my avatar. I have both Kingdom Hearts I and II PS2 games. I'm hoping Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix and Re:Chain Of Memories make it over here in the United States. If they don't, I'm not gonna be happy with Square.

I love Kingdom Hearts, even though I hate the GBA version of CoM and I'm bored of the first game.

I LOVE Kingdom Hearts! I'm an expert on it. I beat the first game, COM, and KH2. I also herd rumors that there is going to be a KH final mix 2 coming to the US, hope they release the first final mix in the US too.

Am i the only one who wishes that they would include some pixar characters in the games? It would be fun to go to an incredibles world, or even better, a monsters inc. world .

Was Chain Of Memories considered canon? Because in KH2 there were members of Organization XIII that didn't appear but they appeared in CoM and were killed off. If that isn't canon, then maybe they can appear in KH3.(If there is one.)

KHIII is coming, but not anytime soon like we thought. Nomura's concluding his involvement in the Final Fantasy series with the FFXIII collection, then he can work on making KHIII. He is making another inbetween KH game like CoM in the mean time (when he announced the next KH project at Jump Festa).

I don't care for it. Honestly, I don't see the huge appeal with this series.

If that isn't canon, then maybe they can appear in KH3.(If there is one.)I would consider it canon....it takes place in between the events of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2....the reason we don't see all of Organization XIII together(except in a flashback that happens in the "Roxas" part of the game),is because five out of the six members who appear in Chain of Memories were killed off(though you can see them in the journal at the end of the game, and one of them appears in the opening video).......though I suppose anything's possible, and they could appear again in a sequel (Maleficent and Ursula both came back after being killed, and Maleficent brought back Oogie Boogie).....

Welp, here are my thoughts on KH (some of it's copied from another thread):

I am a little disappointed in KH, the story was too short. There wasn't enough adventuring, the Princess of hearts came literally out of nowhere, 'cept for Alice and Kairi... At the very least, they could have should a cutscene or two of the princesses being captured.

It was pretty typical shonen (in terms of set up) fare. :( I am a bit tired of seeing strong, smart but dark prodigies lose out to goofy, but good-hearted leads.

The least they could have done was make Riku the main character and have Sora (the light hearted one) lose himself to the darkness. Or maybe shockingly enough, have Kairi be the keyblader and then have Riku be the one with the pure heart or something.

I am also tired of the forgettable female lead who does nothing but stand around and look pretty for the lead or alternatively causes trouble for the lead. I still believe that someday Square will make a main, female character I don't hate. Yuna's the only one and we all saw the horror that was X-2.

Also, the music is mostly forgettable except for the Gummi Ship theme and Traverse Town and the only reason I know them is because I spent a lot of time there.

Other than that, I think it's great. Had some moments of pure and utter magic, like Leon's first appearence in Traverse Town, Leon asking Sora to find the dalmations (and Yuffie saying it was cute, cuz it really was), and Cloud showing up at Olympus Coliseum, any moment with Riku...

What, you say I am fangirl-ing? Uh, sorry. :)

My only real complaint with the series(except for killing off a couple characters I really liked) is that there's not enough female characters among the newly created Disney characters(there's Kairi,Namine,Larxene, and Olette,as opposed to Sora,Riku,Ansem,DiZ,Hayner,Pence, and the rest of Organization XIII),and only one of them is a skilled fighter (Larxene; Number XII of the Organization).....also,among the classic Disney characters, there's only one female summon (Tinker Bell from Peter Pan in the original game and COM;though to be fair,I can't think of anyone else who could be used this way)...and only Mulan and Ariel as party members, though you also get Queen Minnie's help for a bit inside Disney Castle(If they make a sequel,I want an Atlantis world with Kida as an optional party member,or a Pocahontas world with the title character as an optional party member).....
As much as I enjoy the series as-is,if I had a hand in making the series,Kairi would've been the main character, and Sora and Riku would've been the ones she was searching for....also,Organization XIII would've had more female members(I would've made the main villain of COM,Marluxia,a woman, heck for a long time playing the game,I thought he was until the other members referred to him as "he")
