Is it just me or has the Acme Hour become one of the least interesting shows on CN now?

These past few months have been the same batch of MGM and WB one-shots over and over. In fact, last night's show is almost an exact repeat of a show that aired earlier this month!! I love seeing the one-shots, but this is getting a bit ridiculous (besides, how many times can one sit through "Little Dutch Plate" or "Flowers For Madame"??). I guess since the show has been reduced to the 1:00am time slot, the folks in charge are just grabbing selections from the same bunch of one-shots without any thought. That's a shame, I used to actually look forward to watching the Acme Hour.

Since LNB&W will soon be gone, why not use Acme Hour as a source for B&W cartoons (how many kiddies are up at 1am??)? Popeye and Droopy haven't made an appearance on the AH in months. And I kind of miss those themed shows they used to have. Or at least dig up some one-shots that haven't shown in ages like "Ceiling Hero" or "I'm a Big Shot Now". I'm sure more people would tune in. Come on, guys...

Yeah, that wouldn't be a bad idea. Use the first half of the late night ACME HOUR for B&W cartoons, and the second half for Popeye and Droopy. Or we could get rid of the ACME HOUR rerun and just have LNB&W and the Popeye and Droopy programs.

--missing much while my brother watches Comicview on BET? I've noted also that this and Saturday's was pretty much "The Tex Avery Hour", and that an unedited Avery is as rare as hen's teeth.

On that note...anyone notice that "Blue Cat Blues" and "Symphony in Slang" have a very similar feel--e.g. looser animation and a literal interpretation ("he was putty in her hands...") of slang expressions? Though the ending of BCB is a lot more morose....
