The game is coming out in a couple of weeks and i just wanted to see if you think this game will live up to the first one. The 1st game was so well done with a flawless combat system. Can the second one beat it out. This may be a little of topic but why when i say GoW do people think Gears of War when it clearly means God of war. God of war came out first and got better scores should that mean that God of war gets the abbreviation of GoW.

Probably because Gears of War came out about a month ago. That's what people are thinking about now. God of War is a good game, but it isn't something that's so ingrained in the popular gamer consciousness you can just start abbreviating it like FF. That could stand for Fatal Frame, too, but unless you're on a Fatal Frame message board most people are going to read Final Fantasy.

I bet it will be great, but I'm a little unnerved that key members of the original team have left to go do a God of War for the PS3. I guess we'll wait and see. I was happy to read an EGM that said the subweapon in this game won't be useless like the Blade of Artemis was.
