Rumor has it that Grant Morrison will be working on an Ultimate Fantastic Four series. Do we really need a fifth title? I remember when Quesada first laucnhed the line, he said four titles would be the limit, on title per week. No this? Man - if they could get Ultimate X-Men back on schedule, they could pull off the Ultimate title a week. We don't need a fifth title, especially ULT FF.

I want Ultimate FF, especially if Grant Morrison will be at the helm. And if there is a limit of 4 titles, maybe one should go?

This could be the deathknell for Ultimate Marvel Team-Up. Bendis has the series planned out until issue #18, and that issue will hit around July or August...so this could be a sign.

Marvel Team Up would be the one I would think would be the logical choice to go, as well.

I really really hope we don't lose Ultimate Team Up. I mean, what the hell is Marvel thinking if they drop it? I love it because it's the place to see characters in the Ultimate universe that you won't ever see in any of the other Ultimate titles. If they're gonna lose one, let it be Ultimate X-men.

you know what was a GREAT series of comics by Marvel?

the 2099 series (Spiderman, Punisher, some of Xmen and then FF was great considering all that cool crossover stuff they did) Fall of the Hammer was a great crossover series

i wish more stuff like this was around

I loved the 2099 series. You forgot to mention Doom 2099. Man, that was such a well written comic.

As for ultimate FF, the rumor I heard was that Morrison was considering taking over the mainstream FF. I would miss Marvel Team-Up. The feature a lot of great artists that I never thought I would see drawing a Marvel title.

Jeez, whats with the JLA writers going to the FF? Mark Waid just signed on for the mainstream FF series, and Grants gonna go to the Ultimate version? Man oh man, DC's gonna run out of good writing power and artists on JLA pretty soon, good thing the new guys are doing all right as it is.

I really wanna see Ultimate FF.

Ultimate Team-Up never really did anything for me. I mean, it's kinda cool in an iconic sorta way, but other than that I don't really like it all that much.

And Grant Morrison's a genius. With him on writing duties, it's a surefire winner, as long as they get a good artist. But has the Ultimate titles failed us yet in that department?

Overall, I have been satisfied with the artists who have been on the ultimate titles, especially some of those who have been popping up in the Team Up title.

I think a fifth Ultimate title would be fine. Why does there have to be only four anyway? I would hate to lose any of the ones around now. Spider-Man obviously is great, Ultimate X-Men is late but a great read and the Marvel Team Up is a lot of fun. The Ultimates looks great so far! A fifth title wouldn't be bad.
It's not like they are cranking out Ultimate titles out the wazoo, expanding to 5 titles in the, what, year and a half of it's conception is very moderate for a mainstream comic company.
And come on, Grant Morrison on FF would be very interesting indeed.

Personally, I am glad they are limiting it to 4. Heck, our pocket books are not bottomless! If you extend to 5, then why not 6 or more than that?

Well, they said that there's a chance of new ones as new movies pop up, so there's a possibility of an Ultimate Daredevil in about a year or so from now (not that I'd mind, because I've been really lovin' DD alot lately).

I'm with bloody...I'd love to see an Ultimate DD. I'd never really been a fan until I discovered Kevin Smith's DD, and the book hasn't lost it's touch since...but the problem is who would be the writer of Ultimate DD?

I think Team-Up will be gone too! I've also read that out of all of the Ultimate books, Team-Up has the lowest sales. It kinda makes sense that if they do get rid of one of the books, it would be Team-Up.

Still, I don't know. They might be going a bit too "Ultimate" crazy. We're just a couple of series away from "Ultimate Darkhawk"...

Oh come on, 4 or 5 titles is not really going Ultimate crazy. I mean characters like Batman, Superman and Spider-Man each have around 4 or 5 titles devoted just to them. I think Marvel has been very conservative with Ultimate titles.
