I just had a great Mario idea!
We've seen Princess Peach show off her heroine skills throughout this franchise (example: SMB2, and especially SPP).
But we have to admit: couldn't we just see a little bit of Princess Daisy in action too?
Here's my take on a Super Princess Daisy game for DS:
Story:
Three words - Tatanga...is...BACK. And he wants some serious revenge! In Super Princess Peach, Bowser manages to kidnap Mario, Luigi, Toad, and all the other toads of Mushroom Land. But in this game, Tatanga is much more powerful and manages to kidnap Mario, Luigi, Toadsworth, Princess Peach, the toads of Sarasaland, and half the toads of Mushroom Land!
Meanwhile, Princess Daisy decides to go visit her friends who, unbeknownst to her, are captured. As she heads outside and prepares to leave, she notices that the land is unusually quiet. But, noticing nothing out of the ordinary, she leaves.
When she approaches her best friend's castle, she notices that it has been ramsacked. With her friends nowhere in sight, she heads up to Peach's bedroom. She opens her closet and finds two things:
Perry is tied up
There is a note insideDaisy unties Peach's umbrella and reads Tatanga's note. (Why would he write a note to someone if no one is there??? Somehow he knew Daisy was going to come.) She learns that her friends have been kidnapped and that nothing was gonna stop him. And to make things worse, he has gone to Athletica Island (Daisy's favorite vacation spot) and has caused unimaginable chaos!!!
But...he forgot about his princess.
Thus, Daisy sets out on her biggest journey ever, with Perry by her side, to rescue her friends, return peace to Athletica Island, and bring her alien nemesis to justice!
Athletica Island
Just like SPP's Vibe Island, this island is very similar, except that it is known for its...sports! (I made it up since Daisy's a tomboy princess.) This island consists of six worlds with seven levels each and four toads in each level.
The first half of the island's bosses have a toad. However, the second half of the island is more difficult and the bosses there have her friends. (Sorry, I couldn't think of any bosses.):
World 1 - Grassy Plains
Captive: Sarasaland toad
World 2 - Dusty Fields
Captive: Sarasaland toad
World 3 - Salty Waters
Captive: Sarasaland toad
World 4 - Hockey Grounds
Captive: Mario
World 5 - Airy Skies
Captive: Peach/Toadsworth
World 6 - Spooky Land
Tatanga: Luigi
Perry's Battle Skills
Some powers are the same, but there are lots of new ones too:
Cablebrella (SPP) - same thing in SPP where you ride on rope.
Surfbrella (NEW) - turns Perry into a surfboard and allows Daisy to surf through water.
Glidebrella (NEW) - turns Perry into a airglider and allows Daisy to do some hanggliding!
Snowbrella (NEW) - turns Perry into a snowboard and allows Daisy to move through snow.
Chargebrella (SPP) - stuns the closest enemy with electric shock.
Soundbrella (NEW) - sends strong soundwaves to stun an enemy.
Subrella (SPP) - for underwater.Like SPP, Perry can also swallow enemies and be used to throw shells at enemies.
Daisy's Battle Skills/Stylus Screen
Stylus Screen: Similar to SPP, Daisy is centered and there is yellow background. But instead of hearts surrounding her, there are sports balls, which are her powers (again, since Daisy's a tomboy):
Soccer Ball:
Transformation - soccer outfit from Super Mario Strikers
Some Troopas and Goombas have force shields around them, so you can't jump on them. With the Soccer Ball, you can kick it at them, destroying them. Press B.
Basketball:
Transformation - Mario Hoops basketball outfit
This works great, especially for huge enemies. To shoot, jump by pressing A and then press B to release! (Works on boos, too!)
Hockey Puck:
Transformation - never-before-seen snow/ski outfit
You can destroy and hit your Hockey Puck at your enemies using your stick.
Volley Ball:
Transformation - never-before-seen yellow/white swimming suit
Works great for when in water. If you can't use any other equipment in water, then use the Volley Ball to attack your enemies. Press A to swim at them, then press B to sock it to them!
