A few months ago, Toon Zone News reported that Warner Bros. Animation will be working on a new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series for the 2002 - 2003 season. Now from the official TMNT newsletter comes the latest update regarding the series:
"The proposed new TMNT TV cartoon has gone to "focus testing." That's where the network hires someone to bring in a bunch of kids and see how they react to the proposed show. They usually do this by showing the kids the current top rated cartoons and then asking them if they'd watch the TMNT show instead. If enough kids say they'd prefer the new Turtles show, we'll have passed the focus test and be able to move on to the next stage of development. So cross your fingers and hope that the focus tests go well."
Toon Zone News will continue to keep you updated on the development of the new series.
