I got this article from http://us.imdb.com/StudioBrief/#2

A reviewer on the Dark Horizons website is claiming to have seen the script of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and has posted a glowing review that several film writers say looks legitimate, including "spoiler" information about the content. In the review (http://www.darkhorizons.com/reviews/t020128a.htm), critic "Ali" remarks that the story "delivers all the things that Lucas promised to do with The Phantom Menace but failed." He says that the most controversial character of the first episode, the computer-animated Jar Jar Binks, has been diminished (but is "not a thing of the past") and that the pacing has been accelerated. "The difference between the second prequel and its lackluster predecessor is the return to a sense of adventure," Ali writes, concluding: "It was an immensely enjoyable read."

I've read the plot-outline elsewhere and yes, EpII surely looks interesting. There have been mentions that AOTC is said to be as dark as EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, but folks, wait untill EpIII comes around. Even Lucas has said how troubling it could be to be able to tone down the dark material for a family audience in that film.

But getting back to AOTC...Many viewers who have THE PHANTOM MENACE stuck in their heads while watching this one may be in for a bit of a shock of the supposed violence in this one: (Possible MAJOR spoilers ahead, proceed with caution)
There are quite a few human fatalities in AOTC, one which puts one of the main characters in a fit of rage as he darn near massacres an entire village. Also a touching moment in one of the final scenes (If Lucas films it well, that is) where a son has a final interaction with his jeopardized father

This film is really bound to set the stage for the up & down emotions that will tie in with the already-existing episodes. And that's one of the problems which plauges TPM because of its light tone, but in my view, this is highly acceptable...Especially if you forget about the original trilogy and watch the entire saga I-VI with an open mind. :)
