Double main event

Just two days away from the No Way Out pay-per-view, the participants in the main event will be in tag action on SmackDown. Raw's tag team champs, HBK & John Cena will be in action vs. Mr. Kennedy & MVP, and SmackDown's powerhouse duo of Batista & Undertaker will face former tag champs Rated-RKO. What impact if any will this have on their No Way Out and WrestleMania matches?

Ashley reveals all

The self-proclaimed Dirty Diva, Ashley, will reveal the cover of her upcoming Playboy issue. What does the punk Diva and manager of the tag team champions have in store for the WWE fans?

This is sort of related to Smackdown. The latest Around the Ring with JBL and Michael Cole.

These are classics. They should make them every day. Way too many quotable notables to type. All I can say is his Diva and Hollywood actress comments were very very hilarious.

Another stellar King Booker segment. His Muppets line was great. Although I prefer the segment he had with Goldust. That one was better.

I genuinely LOL'd at King Booker's version of See No Evil.

The fans died when Ashley gave her "I was born in a log cabin" speech. And they didn't seem to care when her cover was displayed. It looked pretty generic if you asked me. Nothing that made me awe, if you will.

I'm very insulted at the fact that scotty2Hotty showed up with abousltely NO mention of his new RAW gig. I am very disappointed but not that shocked at this insult to logic. Of course, I bet 5% of the wrestling audience knew that he was now part of the RAW roster.

Not to mention Shannon Moore last of ECW showing up during the X-Division brohaha at the end of the Helms/Scotty2Hotty match. I think this was one of those "Let's throw whoever we can find in the back" bits which will lead to Cruiserweight Open #200 in the last few years that will be very rushed and have no impact in the long run.

So much for WWE winning the war to keep the fat naked guys off their shows as Big Dick Johnson made a frightening appearance after the lovely Maryse showed up in a bath. (shudders.)

ECW officials. I wonder who these ECW officials are. Whoever they are they pale in comparison to Paul heyman, and TOD GORDON.

As much as I like Ashley I take issue with the fact thaat her segment went uninterupted and last night we had to see that travesty of Umaga obliterating Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper

So tonight's Smackdown had a grand total of 7 wrestlers not currently on the Smackdown roster who made appearances tonight.

Shawn Michaels.
John cena.
Edge.
Randy orton.
Bobby Lashley.
Scotty2Hotty.
Shannon Moore.

So much for the brand extenstion eh?

Well despite that, Smackdown was once again terrific.

That King Booker skit reminded me of his thing with Goldust.

BDJ's random appearances are almost as good as Ron Simmons.

Why would Teddy Long want to lose one of his biggest stars to ECW. And why would Kennedy want to go there?

The two tag matches highlighted the show, and I expected Michaels and Cena to pay back Taker and Batista. This rivalry would have been better if it was more about Undertaker and HBK since Taker's the Bane the Shawn's Batman.

Aghhh. Who cares about Ashley's PlayBoy cover. Shes flat and skinny and no good! I'd prefer Kristal or Jillian to be posing instead of a tatoo bimbo like Ashley.

Little Boogey! Moment of the night! Him & Big Boogey vs. Finlay and Little Finlay should be headlining No Way Out. He needs to pull up his pants, though.

Good match between Deuce and Kendrick. I love that finisher.

Theodore Long's a lucky guy, but I'm calling it now: Kristal's in cahoots with Vickie to take down Long. Teddy's a handsome guy, but probably not the kind of guy Kristal would get nekkid with for free (She's more into disgraced former schoolteachers, supposedly).
Kennedy looked really strong against Cena & Michaels. I hope he doesn't win and jump to ECW, yet I want him to beat Lashley. I'm so conflicted.

All hail King Bookah and his Oscar-winning performance! He's got an axe.

WWE uses BDJ so much better than TNA uses FNOG. BDJ > Maryse.

They just keep making Helms' theme worse and worse. First they start out with that awesome theme, then they ruin it by adding "GREGORY HELMS" at the beginning and throughout the song, then they just stick him with bland rock/rap crap. Urgh.
But on the bright side, Jamie Noble's still employed! Hooray!

Good show, as usual. I'm totally hyped for No Way Out.

Are the signs pointing to a draft lottery later this year? Certainly seems that way. 2 weeks ago, Scotty 2 Hotty was traded to Raw for a player to be named later. Unless Scotty himself is that player, why not mention this particular plot point?

Bobby Lashley makes his appearance, and is upstaged by Ken Kennedy. JR was right after all last night. Kennedy has beaten 7 former or current World champions. He beat Lashley for the US title, remember? Unfortunately, JBL & Cole forgot, because they had the number back down to 6. Kennedy, unfortunately, is SO dead on Sunday.

Not mentioned in the rundown of the No Way Out card was the rumored Cruiser title match, which would've explained the mass run-ins in the Helms-Scotty match. Poor continuity.

Kennedy sold the superkick great. Unfortunately, Undertaker, not so much. HBK had to hit it twice. Missed his target the first time. And what's with Montel Poser doing that jump shot before the elbow drop? What's he doing, parodying the Rock? Lame.

Mini-Boogeyman? Well, Little Bastard is finally going to wrestle on Sunday. Maybe this will make Vince reconsider dumping the juniors.

Ashley in a cocktail dress---priceless.

Big Dick Johnson mocking Maryse---cringe-worthy.

King Booker doing movie parodies? Sharmell's no Goldust, and there's no comic chemistry here.

Meltzer is saying Benoit will be added to the card. Probably gets to squash Montel Poser and send him back to Deep South.

Did we really need multiple replays of Trump vs. McMahon AND the 8-man main from last night? No! We could've gotten an extra match or two instead, but it's more proof that Chairman Wackjob is out to lunch, permanently.

Little Boogeyman = The lulz.

Surprise appearance of Big Dick Johnson = Greater lulz.

King Booker's movie review = Segment of the year. Easily trumped Paparazzi Productions American Idol parody.

There's was also plenty of wrestling tongiht, with the seperate tag matches being better than the cluster made last night. Though I wish the heels weren't being crushed so easily. KenVP should've gotten the win, since a loss with Rated RKO is obviously leading to a breakup within the team.

So what's up with Scotty and Shannon Moore. Are they still on Raw and ECW or are they back on SmackDown? And if they were just throwing in random cruiserweights, why not throw in Little Guido as well?

Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman Vs. Finlay & Little Bastard

This PPV is looking better than ever with tonight's developments. The RAW/ SmackDown! rivalry looks to be headed to a full set of steam at Wrestlemania, and I'm glad to see ECW is being focused as an equal by the other two brands. Frankly if it weren't for the Diva Talent competition, thi shas the potential to be the best PPV this year.

I must say after watching this episode of Smackdown, the booking for the Batista-Undertaker v. Michaels-Cena tag match has been hooooooooorible. There is no real underline reason why these teams should be fighting one another (accept for a Mr. McMahon decree) and they've waited too long to develop any kind of animosity between the two teams.

Little Boogeyman may just make this feud between the freak and the Irishman a little more interesting. The mini version of the Boogeyman sure has a lot more teeth though. ;)

The ref was ridiciously distracted for Deuce stealing the win from Kendrick. It was pathetic how bad that call became by the time it was over.

Years after mocking The Scorpion King (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?threadid=30129) with Goldust, Booker T returns to "At the Movies" to mock See No Evil (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=166885). Great stuff. I can dig it.

I was falling asleep during the Cena/HBK-MVP/Kennedy match, but since I was feeling it, I was already taping and watched it later. Good match.

I still don't know or get what is going on between Teddy and Kristal, but I'm very concerned it won't end well for the GM.

While Ken Kennedy could make the move if he beats Lashley, he could just as easily hold the belt hostage and go around ECW telling them a SmackDown! Superstar has their Championship.

Ashley's Playboy reveal wasn't very exciting. The cover wasn't un-exciting, but it wasn't a thrill to see it either.

While I don't believe this was 'known' at the time, WWE.com would seem to indicate that Scotty is once again a full-fledged member of SmackDown! I don't get why they moved him in the first place. And while it was not that way earlier this weekend, it now appears to be the same for Shannon Moore.

I'll admit I found the Maryse-Big Dick Johnson switch kind of funny, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed looking at it.

No surprise that both teams in the PPV main event was their matches on Friday. The big story here was that Cena and Michaels got the last word on this night.
