Not only do the ads return to the E7 Fix episodes, but it turns the streaming into crap.

And one of Eureka's kids actually knows when to stay behind? Color me shocked

Well so much for Sakuya being some hot lady in the flower. Turns out she's a mound of snot. -_-;

Oh wait, nevermind she's just another Eureka clone anyway.

Not exactly. In human form, she looks a little bit younger than Eureka.

Okay. So I have seen this episode. I still have no clue what going over the great wall is.

It took awhile to get into but this was a pretty good episode, highlighting the history behind Norb and this Sakuya woman/Corillian and the parallels between Eureka and Renton. Except where those two failed our main characters will probably hopefully succeed. I also note Sam Regal did the voice of young Norb. He's been getting around between work for 4Kids, FUNImation and now Bandai/Bang Zoom. I also note a decently good Holland line about the end about laying they're lives but not dying to protect the wall. Nothing really too much to this ep outside that though.

I don't know who's the bigger doofus: young Norb around Sakuya or Renton around Eureka.

Probably Norb. He is still a dork afterall.

Yeah, the episode did start off a bit slow, but it got going right before the break. Nice backstory (been getting a lot of those lately) on Norb and Sakuya, and good episode overall.

Two score years ago to date
A pair of lovers tried
To cross this most mysterious gate
And find out what's inside.

One, Lady Sakuya, the Saint
The other, Norb the priest
Who serviced her without complaint.
On her his eyes did feast.

Picked to venture o'er the wall
The preps had all been made
But something caused their flight to fall
And haltered their crusade.

Now in a flow'r she stays alive.
And as for Master Norb
His one true lover's Compac drive
His torso did absorb.

The Gekko crew's still on the run
But Holland will not slack.
And as if they could have less fun
Some army fleets attack.
But after all is said and done
Their state's the same, except for one:
Eureka's hair's grown back.

cutest episode!
Norb makes me want to hug him. Hes just a cute as a kid as he is old. The love between him and Sakuya just seems so simple and pure. When he cried my heart sank.

Go yelling Holland!!
when are those two kids gunna kiss??

Very sweet episode.

And I was right, she wasn't the flower, she was sleeping inside it. She was so much younger than I expected her to be, though. Does this mean Eureka won't age either?

I get the feeling the reason she stopped aging was because she went into the flower. If Eureka stays out, she'll probably continue aging.

The military fleet arriving may have been predictable, but they have a great battle taht is about to start up, and I can't help but praise Holland for the words he said at the end.

Aww, I liked this episode! Comparing Norb and Sakuya's versions of the story was amusing. Hmm, this series has really grown on me, I'll miss it when it's over.

What has Sam Regal done for FUNimation? I don't recall anything.

He's really just LA now besides still being on call for Donatello on TMNT. He hasn't done ADR work for 4kids for a couple of years now. They replace him as Faust on Shaman King mid series. Pretty much since Paranoia Agent (I think that was his first LA gig) he's been working mostly in LA. He's got an account here actually. But he's not the least bit active. He was great as young Norb though.

Heh... young Norb looks like Aang.

Hoorray for Eureka's longer hair!

Anyone else think Crossing the great wall is just one big euphemism?

Hell, this entire show could be a big fat euphemism! I think Norb got further with Sakuya than Renton has with Eureka. They are still trying to get to first base.

Damn. You know what automatically makes this episode a winner? The BGM. Seriously, it makes the intense moments...like a million times more intense. Sakuya was very interesting, and from the previews it looks like they see her again...in her green glob form. The backstory was so good! Norb was cool as a kid.

After all of the complaining we did about Eureka's kids, the eldest one finally steps up and realizes that this isn't the time for whining! Good for him! Now, if I could care enough to remember their names...

I think it's just weird that Sakuya and Norb are telling the same exact story to Eureka and Renton, but in two different places. I mean, their POVs of the story of their relationship didn't different all that much.

So, if Sakuya's failure to get over the Great Wall begat the introduction of Eureka, then how does Anemone fit into the puzzle?

I like where the end was going... big battle ahoy!

"Acperience-3": 3.5/5.

YAY Eureka is hot again! - what Renton was probably thinking (and me too).

I gotta say I LOVE the Rei Ayanami look on her.

I'm guessing crossing the Great Wall = Human Instrumentality.

I didn't think Rei when I saw Eureka's new hairdo, which I hate by the way. Anyway yeah Crossing the Great Wall does kinda sound like Human Instrumentality.

I like Sakuya she sounds so friendly and looks pretty, but what role does she have being a saint and helping Eureka, Renton, Norbu to get over the Great Wall. What will await them there? Will Eureka be and act more like Sakuya, (since they both want the same thing)?
It was so adorable the way Norbu and Sakuya kept telling their story. The way they fell in love with each other, it was almost sad that she turned into a blossom when they kissed. :crying:
How come only Eureka wento to visit Sakuya, why couldn't Norbu and Renton come along?
When Sakuya said that she was jelaous, did she mean Renton's and Eureka's love for each other, the kids, or both?
Looks like there is going to be a battle in the upcoming episode!

Now, if I could care enough to remember their names...Katz, Letz, and Kikka :pActually it's Maeter (the girl), Linck (the youngest), and Maurice (the eldest).

I am looking forward to the next episode. Then again, I've been looking forward to most of the next episodes. Anyway, I wonder what happened to the 909. I saw the 606 and 808, but not the 909. Maybe I just missed it. Seems kinda odd that they'd leave it on the Gekko; don't you think they'd need it?

I thought the girl's name was Nader (at least, that's how it sounds like in the dub)?

The children are named Maurice, Maeter, and Linck. They are named after Belgium playwright and Nobel Prize winner Maurice Maeterlinck (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurice_Maeterlinck).

That's interesting to know.
I wish the kids on the show wasn't so annoying though.
All they do is wine and complain most of the time, like babies.
I can understand the little one, but not the older ones. :raven:
