I sure do! Does anyone else think it is fun? Post here!

See how annoying these kind of things are? I remember a time when the Cafe didn't feel like a cesspool filling with blather like this. What happened to those days and what do you as the posters plan to do about it?

This message brought to you by the Society against Poopy Posts. Why are you contributing to something you hate so much? I almost want to quote Sideshow Bob. But I won't

How about you just ignore them? When I read inane posts I just click the Back button and never look at it again. How hard is that? Okay, there are principles behind protesting inane posts but you and I both know this thread won't stop them. Heck, why don't we just lock off this gated community altogether? Nobody else can join. And any member caught posting something irrelevant will be permanently banned. That ought to stop it. And that's probably the only thing that will.

So what DO I, as a poster, plan to do about it? Ignore them like I've always done. If we ignore them, they don't get replies. If they don't get replies, they don't get bumped. If they don't get bumped, they disappear off the front page and that's the end. Now since THIS thread obviously will be bumped because of my reply to your inane post, I now issue an apology to everyone on Toon Zone.

Know what I find even more annoying? Posters who think they're being clever with snarky posts to point out a problem, but are really just adding to the problem. Thread closed.
