After months and months of trying to get it to win, it finally looks like EX can move on to the discussion phase of Anime of the Month. It's up by three votes at this point in time.

I've been fighting for months though to give EX a shot, and it looks like that dream will finally come true for me this month. I do suspect though that Golden Boy will probably win next month.

Blarg, a video game anime...*casts a futile vote for Golden Boy*

Hail to our conquering heroes: Star Ocean EX. While it's true that EX is based on a video game, I have kept nominating it because of the varioous characters in it. The have comedy and action mixed together and weak and strong characters. They also have an unknown evil trying to take over the world. My only lament is that Star Ocean EX didn't get high ratings in Japan, so it ends at the half way point of the game. The entire series is available ov DVD in individual volumes and as a box set, so feel free to discuss the entire series.
