If you could go anywhere in the world for one week for free (And let's say you already know they're language) where would you go?

Great question!
Japan. There's just so much I want to see around the world in general, but there are a majority of them waiting in Japan. So where's my plane ticket and hotel reservation??
Actually, if you could book that stuff with my mom, travel agent, I'd appreciate it! Killing of two birds with one stone would be helpfull cuz business is still slow. :p

I'd go to Japan, I love the country, I'm studying the language, I love the culture, the food is pretty good, (Except for my recent Udon fiasco...Evil Dr. Reef might tell you about it, but we'd both be banned) and of course, *surge of testosterone* the sweet, sweet Japanese tail! OOOOH YEAH!
Now get outta here befo I lay the smack down with a rollin' DDT! OH, YEAH!
*BOOOO!*
*WHUNK!*
Uhh...izzat you, Reefie? Uhh...the girls snuck up behind me with a foldin' chair....

I'd have to say Greece. You know cradle of humanities and all that.
I'm not really sure which I'd pick, but I would like to see Japan, Greece, Rome, and Egypt.

I'd say Japan, and not just because of the Anime there, that's just a plus. :D
Seriously, I'm very interested in the Japanese culture and history. Plus, the girls there look pretty good, and isn't that every man's reason to go anywhere?
No? Well, screw you! :D

Greece or Rome, just to see the ancient ruins. Having taken 5 years of Latin I grew fond of that sort of stuff.

LOL. Hey you can go to Jewel's bedroom, if I can go to Kristin Kreuk's bedroom. :D
Well, seriously, I'd like to visit China to check out the Great Wall. Or mabe Italy to try to tip over the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Or is that in Rome? Or Egypt would be cool to see the pyramids and etc.

Rome... is a city in Italy. duh. Man, I'm an idiot.
I always get my Rome's, Greece's, and Vatican City's mixed up.

Me, I'd rather go to South America (visit the rainforests or the Galapagos Islands) or Africa for the wild and exotic environment, see flora and fauna completely unique to those areas. If the trip is longer, I'd opt for China or the Mediterranean. I love ancient history and art, so those would be awesome to visit. I think it's amazing to be in places where it feels like I'm in the pages in National Geographics. It's an awesome experience. :D

Ok, aside from Jewel's bedroom, I would love to go to England for a week. Heck, a month! I have wanted to ever since I was a kid. Australia is also a place I would love to visit. I would move there if I could.

I'd go to Australia. Thats where my cousins are, and I'd like to show them how cool us americans are. Also, I killed a bird with a frisbee. I know its random, but I wonder If I could do it with a boomerang there.

Back to Romulus, New York(for you people who don't know where that is, it's near....I forgot....), I only lived there for the first three and a half years of my life, but I've wanted to go back for a long time......... Anyways, if that's not an option, Japan or.......I don't know, Greece.

I would love to go back to France, Spain, and Portugal and spend some more time there. But a place I haven't been yet that I'd like to go to I would have to say is Egypt. I've wanted to go there since I became interested in archaeology and for the longest time I wanted to go and work there, but with all the recent events I don't think an American would be too welcome over there...¬_¬ My aunt told me when she worked in Israel as an archaeologist it was kind of scary because they always had to check for bombs. I'm just scared to go anywhere in the Middle East now.
There are other places I'd like to go, but the list would be too long to mention them all here! :p

Japan would be cool...but I'd really like to goto Israel.........assuming that the idiots living there (of any religion) could wise up, and figure out that blowing each other up isn't helping.

I've been to Greece and Rome..... very nice stuff.
Hong Kong, or Europe, particularly Italy. I've been to Hong Kong before, but I was too young to appreciate it. As for Europe, I love the history about it, the art, architecture, and they probably have some nice natural scenery too.

I think i'd like to visit a tropical island somewhere. Hawaii, or the Bahamas, or something like that. Yeah

I'd definitely go to England and bum around London for a week. A lot of cool stuff there. Then I'd smuggle myself over to France and be illegally there and then bring back some 'legal' stuff from there. A piece of France at home...oh yeah, I'd go that Louvre museum. :D Definitely pay respects at Jim Morrison's "grave."
OT: The French marijuana laws are fascinating. I learned this from a French kid at rock band camp. You can grow it, smoke it, and give it away. You cannot sell it or buy it. You can have it as young as 12 if not earlier.

Australia: Kangaroos, koalas, and wallabees. Plus Steve Irwin (the Croc Hunter). And if that weren't enough - Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Mel Gibson, and Heath Ledger. They're doing something right in that country :)

Sorry that this is off-topic, but you mentioned Steve Irwin and I was just wondering if anybody has seen those valentines of him. I don't think they're very appropriate for children. One says something like, "Blimey! Look at the size of those blokes!" and another says, "Owww...You're a naughty lizard." How romantic, huh? ;) :D

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnno, I think that is definently not appropriate for children.
I'd like to go to Burbank! :yakko: :wakko: :dot: Nah, it's not that great. Darn turn signals....
Perhaps Hungary. There's a little town called Hojdenenajs (spelled it completely wrong, pronounced "Ho-du-na-nash") that I would like to see.

I lived there for two years! In Melbourne though, so no kangaroos, koalas, or wallabees anywhere but in the zoo. (I did see some kangaroo crossing signs though, but that was the closest I got to seeing them in the wild :P)

I want a koala for a pet. I've heard they make terrible pets, but they look so cool.

I'd like to go to Japan. They have all the electronic companies there, and besides, laws there are more lax. :D
I'd really love to tour Europe, though, and see all the historical sites. I'm a history buff, so that would be heaven for me. England takes first place, but I may never get to go there.*sighs*
Austrailia and Hawaii would be nice, tropical beaches, nice friendly people, the occasional tourist site....:D
Heck, I'd like to see the world! But I don't have the money....and ironically enough, the most exotic place I go too is North Carolina. -_-;;

Did you pick up the accent? ;) I'm so jealous. When I was a toddler my parents decided to either move to Australia or Alaska. They picked Alaska. Lived there for three years. Have I mentioned how much I hate snow? Oh well, that's my luck.

The U.K., for some leisurely train travel through the non-London country where trendies fear to tread. (When was the last time you saw a "Get to Know Wales" poster, anyway? Best-known cultural export: Mary "Those Were the Days" Hopkin on Apple Records...)
