View Full Version : IF there was a new Teen Titans show and we ASSUME it is in continuity with DCAU...

This is NOT a "is TT in continuity or not" thread.

This is just a question on whom we would want as characters in a speculative TT show that was, without the shadow of a doubt, in continuity with DCAU.

For me:

Robin (Tim Drake)
Wonder Girl (finds a lesser developed armor of Wonder Woman's)
Supergirl
Starfire
Raven
Cyborg
Beast Boy
Static
Gear
Stargirl
Impulse

I would have Batgirl turn into Oracle and run the Tower. Nightwing be a mentor to Robin with frequent cameos. In a way, have this be Nightwing's alternate group to the Justice League.

Maybe even put Captain Marvel

I like your idea, but it's too many members. I think a group of 5 to 7 fixed characters would be the right choose. The other ones would appear as special guests.

The fixed team could be: Robin (Tim Drake), Starfire, Beast boy, Cyborg and Raven just like TT. The only difference is that Robin would be Tim Drake, while in TT, Robin appears to be Dick Grayson.

I just think this question is so silly. It's like asking if you wanted a Batman show that was the future of the DCAU or something. We already had one.

---I understand where youre coming from, but I just threw it out just as how it would be molded assuming it was in continuity with DCAU. Whom would we see, etc

How would the show be developed? Would it be a loosely affililated team or would it be a succession team as X-Force and Generation X are to the X-Men?

True having too many characters makes to much of a mess and some characters dont get enough screening time so it would be better if the others would remain special guests unless you want to focus on a new team of 5 heroes instead of the original.

I think if you were to have a team other than the group we've got now, you should go with the comic 'New Teen Titans' -

Robin (Tim)
Starfire (As a sort of mentor)
Cyborg ('' '')
Beast Boy ('' '')
Raven
Superboy
Wondergirl
Kid Flash (Bart)

With Nightwing turning up for the occaisional cameo, and to continue his god-sent relationship with Star. That way, they have Cy, BB and Star as mentors sort of, like they are in the comics.

Given we've already had a show with the 5 most mooted in this thread, a hypothetical DCAU TT show would be crazy to use the same 5 characters without constant comparison. I'd say with so many forms of the Titans, there are ample generations to mix and match which could envisage a show with an entirely different group dynamic to the Teen Titan one. I'd keep Tim because of the SS reference (and afterall, we are looking at a canon version), but the rest could be a mix of all the ages, just as so much of DCAU is a mix of tales from a variety of different DC periods - I think such a mix would also mean the show could stand on it's own away from the parent comic canon. Mix a little LJ with a little TT and see what happens.

Wonder Girl (finds a lesser developed armor of Wonder Woman's)
Wonder "Girl" being less "developed" than Wonder "Woman." LOL. There are SOOO many jokes I could make out of that.:D

My lineup would ignore TT all together and make it a Young Justice toon.
Tim Drake Robin
Superboy
Impulse
Wondergirl
Arrowett
