I think the only times I come into the cafe is to say something emotional. Today is no exception.
I'm so happy to see today. Today is a beautiful day. Ordinary. But Wow. THIS is the kind of ordinary I'm blessed with?
I'm one lucky guy.
And I have a lot...a lot...of people to thank for that. Some of which aren't here anymore.
"What a lovely day to shape your dreams...and you don't even have to sleep...you can make it what you want to be..."
What a good song.
I hope you guys enjoy today too ;)

There should really be some rule against making the cafe your personal blog.

Mood:  Surprised somebody would make such a ridiculous post.
You'd say more, but your mom is watching you. :p

If you feel this post contravenes any TOS for the Cafe, report the post, don't just spam the thread for the sake of it. It just encourages others to do the same and then we have a mess.
The report button is what you press not "reply".

Was there something wrong with your vision and you're happy that you still have it or something?

See, the reason I didn't report it is because there isn't a rule against using the cafe as a blog.
What I said is that there SHOULD be a rule for that, because we've gotten too many blog-type threads in the past year.

I may not be a fan of the guy, but I don't think he deserves the rude comments posted in here. He just wanted to share that he's had a great day and wanted to wish us the best. Is that so wrong? Let him be.
You know, they say TZ is one of the best forums on the net. Well, everytime I see posts like this and start to disgaree a little more each time. Let DB be happy, and if he wants to share the sunshine, then by all means, let him.

Thanks to those who understand why I was posting what I did.
And yes, I can see why it would seem random and "blog"-ish as some of you have said. But if you're ever smiled at a stranger and hugged someone you didn't know, then you'll understand where I was coming from.
Sorry for the controversy.

I could say for certain that Texans are far friendlier than other people in other states and I've been to a lot of states.

But Massachusetts, Boston in particular is a very friendly city in my experience. So is Orlando and Miami Florida. Those a very friendly cities.
