Heroes fans, I just wanted to let you know that Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) will be on Studio 60 tonight after Heroes. I'm not gonna lie, it will probably be some sort of cameo, but the Studio 60 fans and I would love to have you join us! :)

Excellent episode.
SULU! Why'd they have to wait until the end?

I wonder if the invisible man used to be some sort of Doctor? :p

Wow. Another awesome episode.
Also, based on the preview (pure speculation)
Odds Claire's daddy is Linderman anyone? ;)

SULU! Why'd they have to wait until the end?I think this plot in this episode, in particular illustrates that perhaps the writers of the show are being a wee bit too loose lipped about what they have in store for us. I realize they're trying to one-up Lost by reassuring their audience that they have no hidden agenda or lasting mysteries; but this episode would have been SOOOOO much better, particularly the Hiro plot line, had I not known that George Takei was going to be showing up as Hiro's father. In fact, I think in a recent interview either the character that plays Hiro or the creator gave an episode number for which Takei would be showing up - so it totally ruined the suspense of who was kidnapping Hiro when I guessed who it was the moment they showed up.
That...and everyone involved in the show has made it transparently clear that Sylar would still be a major presence in this season, so when they said he was dead - I instantly knew it wasn't for long.
Just nitpicking is all - I like a wee bit of mystery to my viewing. Otherwise a rather good episode.

An okay episode. Things moved a little slowly this week, but it's all important... Too much emphasis on Micah's ability being reveled. We have seen it once before after all. As Discloner noted, the Hiro's father thing would have been way better had they not let it known it'd happen.
Does HRG suspect Claire is in contact with The Haitian? Either that or it was a pointless fake-out. Sylar won't kill HRG, as he's still very much a mystery. Now Mrs. Bennett, there's a possible victim.
Any bets on who Claire's father is? Linderman is the obvious choice, but the way they didn't show his face in the promo implies it's someone we'd recognize. At first the rolled up sleeve reminded me of Nathan, but I think that's a long shot.
After last week, I thought there would be no problem keeping The Invisible Man separate from a certain previous character he played *cough*TheNinthDoctor*cough*, but the second he said "fantastic," it was all over. He might as well have pulled out a Sonic Screwdriver and stood next to a TARDIS.
Oh, and Claire's only 15!?

My thoughts went to Nathan also. But I highly doubt it is him.

Hey I haven't been following the news and interviews at all, I didn't know about Takei was showing up, but it was blatantly obvious to me Sylar wasn't dead.

Anybody get a weird OOC from the title and Niki's shots?
The Fix ... Niki's getting a fix.

The fix is a multi faceted title. Nikki needs a fix for Jessica. Peter needs a fix for his powers

The first name that came to my mind at the end of the promo was Sylar (!) because of the focus on the watch, but that wouldn't make much sense because:
a) He's still in captivity and presumably still ****ed up from whatever HRG and that other guy were doing to him
b) He tried to kill her
c) He doesn't seem like the type to be wearing a suit
d) It would be an incredibly lame twist

Reading the Online Graphic Novel
I think the Line between good and evil will be blurred by the end of this season
As for the Trailer
Mrs Bennet will die , Claires dad is a guy with a watch :), Jessica and Sylar are alive and kickin

Was that thing about Micah supposed to be a surprise? Because, yeah, it wasn't. Hiro, as always, is entertaining. I liked his "GULP!" Matt's going to be a dad?
It does look like Bennett is on to the Haitian, or else he wouldn't have looked at that wind chime oddly. Are we doing spoilers for the preview?
I think Claire's father could somehow be related to Sylar given that they showed him with a watch. But who knows? Looks interesting.

Great episode, especially the last two minutes. Peter's plotline was okay. Hiro's plot just thickened, but he's still no where closer to the mysterious Linderman. Claire's mom finally shows her face, and one of the elemental powers finally shows itself. Nice to see some big changes happening...oh and Mr Bennett is in some trouble...

They already showed a bit of Micah's powers several episodes ago anyway. So no, the only people surprised was his dad.
Boy, am I getting tired of this Nikki plotline.

Hmm, Suresh mentioned the List had 36 people on it. A little addition and recollection...there's about 14 left to be revealed? I hope they'll save some for next season.
I speculate that Mr. Nakamura is part of a shadow group that Mr. Bennet mentioned episodes ago that pose a danger besides Sylar.
It does seem like Mrs. Bennet will kick the bucket. But it'd be a cruel fate for Mr. Bennet to have to take care of Mr. Moogles.
From what Suresh said about Peter's powers, I came an idea that you can think of Peter's absorption powers as automatic and Sylar's absorption powers as manual. I still wish he'd show off another power besides telekinesis, though.
As for who Claire's father is...it seems the obvious choice is Linderman or maybe even Nathan. But this revelation may not even come to pass in this episode, just a small partial shot at the end of the episode.
Funniest Hiro line, "This is how we roll."

Not necessarily. I don't think the list is a comprehensive who does/doesn't have powers in this world kind of thing. Just a number of powered people that Papa Suresh managed to figure out. I believe that there are more than 36 superpowered people in the world, and that not all the heroes we've seen so far are on the list.
I especially think so when Dr. Invisible started talking about other metas, and hinted that he had trained at least one of them.

Right now I am under the assumption that when Suresh stumbled upon his father's program in India, it was constantly updating, since some people on the list were noted as deceased.
The problem with that list being in existence is that some people can slip through the cracks, as you said as well. But that shouldn't be an excuse to dump characters on us in one season. We've met about 20 metahumans already, I think, and along with the supporting, that's enough for me. We don't need one new character to be the shocker at the end of every episode, that's all. :)

i might be bringing this up a bit too early, but, who else thinks Matt's baby is going to have powers? (assuming it his, not his workmate's).
Also, i was SO expecting the "big boss" to be some Hiro from the future, that it was unexpected to me that he washis father (which is pretty cliche), nice distraction.

New baby or not, I still think Matt's marriage will be over by the end of the season and then they'll start playing around with the relationship between he and his cop partner. It doesn't seem that strong, and casting a wife that plain-looking is a dead giveaway to a throwaway.
Takei should not have been spoiled if this entire episode was written to "mislead" us into thinking Hiro's dad is working for Mr. Bennet. Thanks to several articles and many interviews, we already know that's not the case.
Last week I defended Jessiki....this week I'm with everyone else, she can't sit in that stupid room for half a season begging to remain in there. Leave that kind of meandering on Lost! Oh, and I'm the first to ever type "Jessiki," so I want credit.
My money's on either Linderman or Nathan. It can't be anyone else (Sylar? Explain how).

im not sure, for some reason i found amusing seeing Matt doing mundane marriage stuff with his power, i even found entretaining seeing him fix the sink.
but maybe thats just me

You know, the line "Instructions are to keep him alive," kinda reminded me that Claire's dad is not 'the boss' and that he's working under someone. That being said, you could see he wasn't happy when Sylar 'died.' Good news... Sylar isn't dead. Bad news... he's standing in the same room as him, blocking the only exit out.
Interesting take, Mohinder calling Peter a 'sponge' for powers. But really, if that was the case, some trace elements of the powers he has borrowed are still in him. If so, why can't he access them on his own?
"You came back for me."
"This is how we roll."
Oh my gosh! I can't believe Hiro said that! As for the 'boss man' he's facing... it's his father! That's his connection to this whole thing?
"The Fix": 3.5/5.

Yet that scene wasn't played for surprise. The music was orchestrated for danger, not for death.
