Howdy all,
A post on a different board (someone used the nickname "Jack Tenric") reminded me of this comic series, and a quick lookup on google reminded me that there was a very short-lived animated series on CBS for it, too.
So, did anybody here read the series or watch the cartoon? I saw the cartoon before I started reading the comic, and remember thinking that the 'toon managed to simplify the storylines of the comic without dumbing them down. I love the comic, though, and would pay good money so Mark Schultz would at least finish off the last story arc.
For those who never read or saw either, C&D is set on a far flung future Earth, and features old 1950's style Cadillacs, dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, and really hot women in the occasional furry bikini. There's a rather complex and satisfying storyline to go along with that, too, but I figure the furry bikinis will be enough to get some guys on the forum to go ask about the series at their comic stores =8^). For the ladies, I guess Cadillac Jack is kind of hunky...
Just wondering if I'm showing my age here, or if others remember this, and would want to get CN to acquire the show and air it on Adult Swim or CCF or something.
