Root for Root Beer

Is there a better beverage than Root Beer? I don't think so. It's good enough for Snoopy, it's good enough for me...but which do you prefer?

Root Beer is interesting..cause it has a more geneneric name (compared to other softdrinks, like Coke & Pepsi..where you rarely hear them called Colas..which they are) and how people don't dislike Root Beers which aren't their favorite as much as Cola fans dislike other colas.

That made no sense...I needed more sleep last night.

I went with Mug. I'll drink just about any kind of Root Beer, but I was in a "Mug kinda mood" :) when I voted.

It's a much more spicy, tangy flavor. Though admittedly I usually drink the cheaper generic stuff....

Red Skelton once got a hearty laugh when he told his viewers to drink plenty of root beer because "it's good for your root!" Not quite sure what that means, but I was never one to doubt Mr. Freddy the Moocher.... :rolleyes:

A&W. And I HAVE tried IBC. But I've said it before in other pop threads...the best way to enjoy this is out of a glass bottle! Or even better yet, at an old fashioned A&W root beer stand (does this show my age? They have been out of business for quite a while, I think.) but even better is A&W root beer straight out of a tap poured directly into a frosty mug. You don't know the frosty mug taste until you've had it from a frosty mug. That's why it is the best!
