Wow, I didn't realize he had that many duties for the network. I wonder if this will affect CN in the future.

Yeah hopefully it will get better. It seems to me like Buhaj did more bad than good to CN US since Fall 2004. But then again you'd have to imagine I'd have a beef with whoever was in charge of scheduling. So then... is the position available? XD

Hopefully he was reponsible for the bad stuff and not the good stuff.

Yes... hopefully. But either way there's no telling if the next person will be better or worse. Thus making change an ever-questionable thing.

With any luck he'll remember what Naruto is SUPPOSE to look like and get that fixed in the UK. But He'll probably have more pressing matters to attend to.

Thank god he is out. Things quickly went from bad to worse under his tenure.

Good riddance. Too bad that's only one idiot gone from a production team of several.

Let's hope someone better can do this job.

Someone like a certain "schedule pimp"

Yeah, he showed alot of promise in 2004. He was in charge of the schedules in CN Asia, and the schedules over there are so balanced. Look at CN Japan. Classics, CN originals, preschool shows for the young ones and anime on the network? I wish CN here could get that.

What good stuff was there to speak of? CN has done some pretty cool things in the past 2 years but decent scheduling isn't one of them. And since Buhaj only worked for scheduling and branding if I recall correctly, things will hopefully be fixed up there.

OR they'll devolve to Nickelodeon-level schedules where nobody knows what's airing until the "coming up next" bumpers. I honestly wouldn't put it past them.

This is good news, but lets hope that the new guy is an improvement that is able to kick The Network back into shape.

May God help Jetix Europe... I doubt that Buhaj will do a better job than Michael Lekes. And, how long did it take them to fill that position? Five or six months, about.

But, this opens a new door for Cartoon Network, I suppose. Watch as another underqualified employee steps into the scene.

What is the requirement for being in charge of schedule on CN? I don't suppose it's being a loyal fan or a toon junkey.

Yeah, from just the press release I can sense that his leaving is a very good thing. Under his reign, we have had to suffer through repeat after repeat after repeat of episodes that were premeired on Fridays. It was about 2005 where things did start to plummet quickly in scheduling for CN.

I don't understand why CN feels the need to repeat the CN shows that premeire on Fridays at least 4 times during the following week, or why out of a library of episodes from multiple seasons of their shows, they only play the same episodes from the past season to the current one over and over again. And don't get me started on how inconsistant they've been with showing 'Xaolin Showdown' all out of order and all over the place...

I still lobby that the new VP of programming brings back the classics, as well as our favorite CCs and do an "every other day" type of schedule to fit everything in. Something like Mondays and Wednesdays at (say) 10 pm, they show Freakazoid!; Tuesdays and Thursdays they show (say) Animaniacs. Mondays and Wednesdays at (maybe) 8 pm they show The Flintstones (like they used to), and Tuesdays and Thursdays they show EEnE... Getting to show all of the fan favorites but keeping the lineup diverse instead of repetative and boring... Can't tell you how many times I've turned on the station and sighed to say "Oh, it's this episode...AGAIN." I know everyone has their own wish schedule, just as I have mapped out mine... But I guess the difference with mine is that I try to fit everything in (somewhat) to accomodate everyone..

UK TV is much like an untrained Dog, it will do what it wants, when it wants to and make a mess where it damn well pleases.

We will be informed as to who his replacement is, right?
