Well seeing as how we've had a 'what ticks u off' thread before, I thought I'd go optimistic and focus on some of the... hmm, I'm not gonna repeat my title here... let's just say little joys.
1. Getting something cool in the mail.
2. A 65 degree, partly cloudy day with low humidity and a slight breeze.
3. One of those perfect weather days when you're friends are actually around, so u can actually take advantage of the day. I swear there's a variation of Murphy's Law that says, "On perfect weather days, nobody will be around. This perfect weather day is for looksee only, not taking advantage of."
4. Catching up to an old friend.
5. The feeling right after you've finished your last final exam.
6. Making genuine connections with new people.
7. The thrill of competition, say in a sport or a game.
8. Bursts of creative output.
And probably many more I'm forgetting. So what lifts the rest of u up?

1. feeling appreciated
2. rainy days when it's not coming down too hard or too soft, it's the perfect tempature and you can just sit there and think
3. being able to blow stuff up like models and such (it's fun!)
4. Being with the person(s) you most enjoy being with.
I highly agree on that mail part. :D

1. When you have a small scar that no one can see, that way when there's an evil clone of you and your best friend has a gun and he doesn't know which one of you to shoot, you whip out the scar and you're like "What's up clone?" and the clone is all "Oh, freaking perfect."
2. When Godzilla is walking down the street and his foot comes down right on you and you think you're dead, then there's that sweet moment of realization that you're just between his toes, and as his foot comes up you can start talking trash to Godzilla as he walks away.
3. When you fall off a building and Superman grabs your ass a second before you become pavement goop.
4. When you're at a big dinner and you're about to take a big bite of food and just then, everyone around you dies, so you realize, phew, good thing you didn't eat that poisoned food.
5. When you find a quarter on the ground.

{laughs} Very funny stuff, Terminatah!
Me? I'm happy if I'm by the ocean at dusk, just sitting at the shoreline and daydreaming.
Geez, I sound like some romance-freak. But still, it's very calm and relaxing. And beautiful; can't forget beautiful.
'Nother thing that's a little joy to me: Being appreciated. Yeah, people said this already. But that means it's a very good little joy, doesn't it?

I agree on the sky thing. :D I LOVE looking up at the sky and seeing how massive the clouds are and how blue the sky is and stuff. :)
Other things I like are:
1. Hearing from an old friend you haven't seen in a long time
2. Going outside to find that the weather is bright, sunny, and mild
3. Hanging out with your friends
4. Finding out it's a snow day
5. Forgetting all your troubles after you talk to your friend.
6. The feeling after you achieved something extremely hard
7. And I agree with the bursts of creative output as well
I gotta add more on this, too later.

Well, we had a perfect weather day today :), unfortunately classes made sure the Murphy's Law relating to perfect weather days took place.
I gotta agree with the waking up and not being tired one. Nothing sets up ur day better than being awake and well for it.
I also agree with the accomplishing something hard one.
One more thing, I love the 'look of dawning recognition.' For example, say after pulling a prank on someone, they start to unravel why you did all the things you did and figure it out piece by piece. "Oh! So that's why you blah blah blah!" That reaction is priceless to me.
3. Aye, getting things in the mail, especially presents from people I meet online (It's true!)
Nightflower, you get gifts from online folks? Shoot, I dont even get gifts from my here & now friends! ;)

1. A cloudy day, no sun at all. Its wet in the morning, from the rain the night before. Dry during the day. And at around 6:00, it starts raining. No better kinda day.
2. That feeling you get with your special someone in your arms
3. The satisfaction of Pay Day.
4. That fresh plastic smell of a brand new Action Figure you've been wanting for months.
5. The feel of a brand new video game
6. Getting home from a long day, and dropping into bed, knowing you have nothing to wake up to in the morning, giving you all the time in the world to sleep, and no worries to keep you up.
7. Friday nights.
8. A walk through the park on any day in the spring! :p
9. Going hiking, and that feeling you get when you reach the top of the mountain, and look down on that mountain you have just conquored.
:D I'm happy now! :D

1. When just everything about the day is great: you wake up feeling wonderful, get a test back with a good grade on it, no traffic going to and from places, you see all your favorite people, you laugh a lot with them and just keep smiling.
2. you find money someplace where you'd forgotten you put it
3. seeing a movie, or reading a book, that you've been waiting for, and being incredibly satisfied
4. when someone pays you an inredibly awesome compliment
5. rereading your favorite comic, book, or watching your favorite movie, tv episode, during your great day
6. getting into the car, turning on the radio, and your absolute fav song is just beginning.

When I packed all my things for college, I found $80 that I had completely misplaced behind some books. I immediately flashed back to all those times my brother and I had to pay the pizza guy with rolls of quarters.

-Getting a big hug and "I love you" from your significant other for no reason at all, especially after a long, hard day.
-An entire afternoon to get engrossed in a really good book.
-Vermont's mountains. (I have the most beautiful drive home.)
-Weekends.
-A soft, purring kitty curled up in a ball on your lap.
-Remembering a funny joke and getting another laugh out of it.
-A fellow driver actually being courteous and letting you into traffic.
-Having enough money to pay the mortgage, car payments, and go out for a night on the town.
