View Full Version : Toon Zone Talkback - "Time Warp Trio": Where's Mr. Peabody When You Need Him?
This is the talkback thread for "Time Warp Trio": Where's Mr. Peabody When You Need Him? (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=14304).
I think this is the most I've ever seen a show which aired on the Discovery Channel...

Nice review. You pretty much echo my thoughts.
I'll gladly admit to watching other Discovery Kids programs religiously, but this ain't one of 'em.

I remember reading a series of John Schiezka/Lane Smith books with these characters when I was in 3rd grade. This show, however, looks unappealing. They got rid of the cubist style of the book illustrations and replaced it with such generic crap.

You might want to tell this to Jon Scieszka, because the designs on the show were personally approved by him, even though he didn't illustrate the originals.

I saw some episodes of this show, but didn't particularly like it at all---far as "time-travelling humor" goes, the late 90's E/I cartoon "Histeria!" (on Kids WB) or the early 90's "Back to the Future" cartoon were much better IMO.

Still misses "Kenny the Shark"...

Matter of fact, I don't... just run-of-the-mill analog cable.

That's a good review. Nice job!
The show's pretty good, from what I've seen. I used to read the books when I was in fifth grade. I believe I own at least two of them.
Maybe I'll get the DVD for my birthday... That and SatAM: The Complete Series.

Ah, that explains it.
